What music genres are in your collection?
70s, 80s, 90s, Classic Rock, Country, Dance, Hip Hop, Motown, Pop, R&B, Rock, Soul
Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Describe your DJ style:
Fun. That's all you need to say because that is the MOST important thing! We LOVE what we do so we get into it and have a blast at every event we do!
What is your usual attire?
We usually wear dress pants, dress shirt and tie. We don't wear tuxes.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No way! Are you kidding me? They have enough to worry about with planning their wedding. Finding music is our job and that's never a problem.
How many other DJs do you work with?
There are a total of 3 DJ's right now.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
No time limit with us. If you only need one hour, you got it!
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
That's a MUST! We set up personal meetings way in advance so you can get to know us and feel 100% comfortable with the DJ before the event.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yup, we bring it all. We are able to cover any size room with enough sound and lighting.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We do offer a couple different light shows that can range from something simple that covers the floor or provide enough lighting to make it look like a nightclub. We also can provide a projector and screen if you have a photo presentation. More information on these services can be provided when requested.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We ask for a least one 8ft table set up in the room. If the venue can not provide the table then we will bring our own. As far as set up's go, we ask for at least 2 hours of set up time. We would rather get there early to make sure everything works and there are no issues, then run late and hope everything works.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Not unless we are bringing a full light show. If that is the case we will work with the venue ourselves to make sure we are ok for spacing.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We will make any announcements needed and do what's best for the reception. We don't like to talk a lot because it's not about us, it's about the music and the party. We know our limit.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
No break needed. We keep going!
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
If there was ever a problem that we had to take care of, then yes we will be prepared with music to cover us.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Of course! We always have DJ's on reserve and if anything were to happen before the event, we will make sure we set up a meeting so you can meet the replacement DJ.
What is your overtime rate?
$90.00 for every 1/2 hour and it is due by the end of the wedding.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
If the wedding requires our DJ to book a hotel for the evening then a fee of $50.00 will be added to help cover the room charge.
