We are Robert & Elisabeth McKay, a husband and wife photography team. We love each other and we love photographing weddings!

Every couple is unique, thus we approach each wedding day as a new experience, capturing the event with artistic candids, but also creating some beautiful portraits of the bride and groom and their families.

We believe our style is best described as editorial photography, a mix of photojournalism and classic portraiture, modern and romantic, fresh and elegant...

Let us tell you a little bit about how we work...
A couple of hours before your ceremony begins, we split up to photograph both of you “getting ready.” These photos usually take place during the only time of the wedding day when the two of you are not together and they are a lot of fun for both of you to see later on. Once the ceremony begins, all of the main events of the day will be photographed from each of our two unique perspectives...
Your wedding coverage will go on right until the end of the night. We’ll take a bit of time during the day to get some beautiful portraits of you and your family and spend the rest of the day and night, as unobtrusively as possibile, capturing meaningful, candid photographs of all the important moments and people that fill the day. When all is said and done, you’ll have almost a 1000 vivid, 4 x 6 prints to take home and share...

Your wedding photography is an heirloom; and so, the choice of a wedding photographer is therefore one of the most important decisions you’ll make during this planning stage. Find a photographer that makes you feel comfortable and you will look great in the pictures! We take your photography very serisouly, but that being said, we want everybody to have fun, first and foremost! You will find our style to be loose and relaxed, never stiff and controlling. The result of course will be pictures where everybody looks like they were having fun... because they were!
