Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
We retouch all of the proofs and recreate some with special effects like turning day into night, lighting effects, adding a soft focus filter, adding vignettes, etc.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
My prefernce is natural window light because it is so romantic.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
There is 5 talented photographers working in our company so you pick how many you'd like to have.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I am the main photographer but my talented team works as hard and they are great..
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
As stated before, there is 5 of us in this company.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
At least 2 or 3 of everything, cameras, flash units, tripods, etc.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Always!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have a system of packages but can accomodate anybody's needs.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I give the option of having extra photography time and it starts at $200.00 hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
None except for the natural breaks in the wedding day paced by the couple's needs.
Do you charge for travel?
No charge in the Southland
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
4 to 6 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
online gallery for budget packages or 4x6 prints enclosed in an album for full packages.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
It is theirs to keep.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes but only to advertise my services.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
In the budget packages there is an option to buy your CD with all your high resolution pictures for an additional Charge. Full packages have it included.
Will images be available for viewing online?
It is an option, yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
One of a kind beautiful coffee table books albums and traditional library bound ones.
When will the client get the final album?
4 to 6 weeks after your submission of choices.
