Before our wedding, everyone always said that the food at weddings was forgettable, but Lombardi changed that tune for us! The food was phenomenal, and our guests couldn't stop raving about it – I was craving seconds! We had the pleasure of working with Denise, Lombardi's wedding and events manager, who was beyond helpful and super easy to communicate with.
Lombardi's team was outstanding and ensured every guest was well taken care of, from the cocktail hour to the dinner and dancing - drinks were flowing, and smiles were glowing! Everything was perfect. A massive thank you to Denise and all the folks at Lombardi's for making our day unforgettable!

I can’t begin to say enough about Lombardi’s! The service, the price, the quality! All were amazing! If you want fantastic comfort food at an unbeatable price, this is it. The only problem we had was picking from the endless options a of delicious choices for our wedding menu. We ended up going with 2 salads, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, roasted chicken, braised beef shank and French bread. Our guests raved about the food, em there was plenty for everyone and tons of leftovers. You can have the food dropped off (which is what we did), or they can provide a service team. All in all, Lombardi’s has tons of options, great prices and most of all, is absolutely delicious! My husband and I would highly recommend.

We had a gourmet burger bar for our wedding and it was delicious! They were cooking for a large group and the quality was on par for every portion which can be hard while cooking burgers sometimes. This company has an amazing deli and their catering service is run by real people who will treat you and will want to feed you like you are their best friend! Our tasting appointment really set the tone. Denise Bugbee had a mock table set with various dishes for us to try. She is a wonderful, caring and fun person. Helping to plan the menu and make selections with her is so easy and fun! She was our captain caterer at our wedding as well and I knew everything would run smoothly with her there. Lombardi's has thought of everything when it comes pleasing you and taking care of guests. They will do as much or as little as you want. We now make special trips out of town to enjoy their food. Delicious food and amazing people to work with!

HUGE HIT WITH MY GUEST! Denise, the coordinator at Lombardi’s catering is such a great gal! Made me feel so special as she was so warm and accommodating with time changes and substitutions. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the Mac and cheese and baked beans. The meats we so tender as well!

We were referred to Lombardi’s from our wedding venue, Olympia’s Valley Estate. Their pricing was way more affordable than other Sonoma County vendors and we got the most bang for your buck in terms of options and quantity. We were immediately sold after the taste test that we didn’t even bother scheduling any other caterers. We invited a few friends to attend the taste test and they admitted that the wedding day food was even tastier than the taste test! On the wedding day, we’ve never heard so many compliments about wedding food, as the food aspect can get overlooked since there’s so much else going on during the day. It’s either no one talks about meals unless it’s really good or really bad (for example other weddings that we attended this year ran out of food at the buffet for the last tables, or it was just bad from food being mass cooked). This wasn’t the case though, as everything was delicious and warm. From the hor dourves (flatbread pizza cooked in OVE’s brick oven, and fresh oysters (!!!)), to the main entrees like tri tip, bbq chicken, penne pasta, and even down to the grilled veggies and cornbread. There was no bad item. We gave an accurate headcount and folks still had seconds but there were still trays of leftovers, which were greatly appreciated at the after party (still good even cold haha) and the following day. 

Denise made the whole process so easy to work with, especially since meals is one of the most expensive wedding items to budget for. She helped narrow down our menu and her menu suggestions were on point. She sent us reminders of what’s needed next and coordinated directly with our other vendors too (Encore Events for rentals, Lisa Bravo for coordination, and OVE for venue). Her existing relationships with our other vendors really smoothed things out. For example, for Encore Events, once we finalized our rentals (tables, chairs, flatware, etc.), she was able to add that invoice to the total of the catering costs since those 2 companies have a long standing relationship. And when the rentals count looked off, she noticed it and double checked with us first. She also helped lower the counts on some of the rentals to help us save money since she knew realistically that we didn’t need that many extras of certain items. Another plus is that Lombardi’s allowed us to pay whenever we wanted so I called in monthly to make payments rather than paying off a huge chunk at once. We paid each time with a credit card so we got back a considerable amount of Chase points since it’s considered a restaurant expense. 

Their attention to detail was unmatched and Denise made it was easily one of our favorite vendors we worked with. She was very responsive and was always ready to help or answer any questions we would have. Highly recommended and thank you so much for satisfying all our tastebuds! We’ll be returning to your store front whenever we’re back in Petaluma. 

My wife and I worked with Denise at Lombardi's to plan our 110 person rehearsal dinner, and the whole process end to end was a total delight. The tasting process was very professional and the food superb, and somehow the food on the day of the event was even better than we had remembered. Multiple guests came up to us to say how great they thought the food was. Aside from the amazing food and frictionless service, the best part was that the total all in cost was something like $40 a person. Incredible!
