La Palapa Del Mar in Belmont Shore between Long Beach and Seal Beach

There are two styles of beachfront weddings, the tropical bamboo arch or the Nantucket Eastern style with a white oval arch and graceful white picket fence, truly beach all the way.

Above the beach is the Del Mar Room with those ocean front views and the twinkling lights of the city at night. The Del Mar Room has a beautiful banquet room adorned with gold lace, French style drapery, crystal chandelier, candlelight throughout, lounge and a wonderful changing room for the brides.

Our Master Chef and his staff cooks your food fresh, served buffet style and served by the Del Mar Room professional staff. The Del Mar Room has a large dance floor and stage where your DJ sets up for the party at hand.

Our brides are all delighted knowing we do only one wedding reception per day in the Del Mar Room, her day is our day to make perfect.

Our professional wedding planners on staff are an integral part of the Wedding and Reception experience at La Palapa Del Mar. This important service is included in our wonderful wedding and reception packages. The planner creates a Word Document with a time line, food program, décor program and seating layout to insure your day is one to remember fondly. Our planners have been with the Del Mar Room for over 10 years, Elizabeth, Katherine and Mary Claire.
