How many members are in your group?
3 - 5 depending
What is your usual attire?
We wear all black. Also a black hat. In fact, every wire, every stand, even the projector stand is covered in black. We have a goal to have the cleanest set up we can and black looks very nice. Its as if our whole side of the room is a facade unto itself.
Do you offer live sample performances?
Yes, I can go over the exact music I will provide.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
30 minutes.
How much space do you usually require?
For a ceremony, 2 - 3' X 3' spaces by the altar, and a 6 foot table at the back of the hall.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
No charge for travel time, its included in the price.

DJ Details

Describe your DJ style:
Non-stop beat-match variety DJ with a sense of humor along with a sense of timing. I'm not always on the mic. I believe that wedding receptions are also a time for families to get together as well. If the floor isn't packed, I'm not the type of DJ to beg people over and over to come to the dance floor, give them blow-up guitars or goofy hats to get them involved. Typically early on folks want to drink and have conversation. Later on, when the people start coming out to the floor, I turn my mixing abilities on and the whole place turns into a very hip night club! The atmosphere is energetic, yet relaxing and non-intrusive. People stay till the very end.

Do you have replacement DJs in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
Yes
Do you specialize in any ethnic and/or international events?
It depends. I've done a few Filipino events and an African event. I have access to the right DJ for the job no matter....I will not take a job I am unqualified for. Thats honesty for you.
Is the bride able to meet the DJ before booking?
ABSOLUTELY. I think the bride should be available for the DJ!
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the couple, do you require that they provide it?
Nope, I buy it.
What is your usual attire?
Black dress slacks and shirt. Black hat.
Do you bring your own equipment?
ABSOLUTELY

YES
What is your minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
I will DJ for any length of time. My standard time is UNLIMITED!
Do you usually emcee the reception and/or talk between songs?
Yes, I emcee the reception, No I don't talk between every song. I'll talk whenever I'm going to musically rotate the floor.
Do you take any breaks?
Bathroom break maybe once.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Yes!
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal?
I usually eat before I come. If a meal is offered, I won't turn it down. But I'm never on "meal break"
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site and/or couple provide a table for you to setup on?
3 hours setup. 1.5 hours is used to set up, 30 minutes for fine tuning. 1 hour for troubleshooting or problems. I always allow time for anything that might go wrong. Your DJ should! Backup system also on hand AND I have my own tables!
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Yes, its a large setup. 25' by 12' preferred generally. But I can make any space work.
What is your overtime rate?
No overtime rate. All inclusive pricing.
