About
I came from a background in fashion. While I will always love that meticulous attention to detail and incorporate that into all my work, I also adore the nature of a completely organic, genuine moment.

I love people. I love that your life, in the end, is a collection of poignant moments showcasing the hands you’ve held, the faces you’ve loved, and the smiles you’ve shared. In the end, it’s the highlights you remember.

I have always been fascinated by the human condition. By watching, and observing. An idealist at heart, I prefer to naively hope that love still has the power to eloquently push the human spirit towards triumph.

I love my clients. They welcome me into their lives with an openness they would usually reserve for an old friend. I have a unique opportunity to be present for some of their most tender moments, and document those moments for them to cherish forever.

There is nothing more important in this life than the love we share. To be afforded the luxury of a job that allows me to capture such great joy in others’ lives is an amazing treat. Each first wedded kiss, each first dance, each child’s genuine smile… lifts my heart.

I’m Jessica, and I document lives. Their lives enrich mine.

Nice to meet you ;)

Tips and Advice
Bride's want beautiful photos, but they often forget that there are certain key elements that will help ensure they get the best possible photos.

1) Be aware of the space you're getting prepped and dressed in. Dark gloomy rooms with dingy furniture and halogen lights make it very difficult to take a photograph that makes the bride look her best, not to mention unappealing ambiance in the photo. Take into consideration your dressing space... make sure it's a lovely backdrop that will not detract from how beautiful you're going to look. Look for LOTS OF WINDOWS to make sure you have beautiful, glowing natural light... this will always make for the most flattering and appealing wedding photos. I have seen many brides getting ready in what is practically a closet... don't let this happen to you!

2) Remember to smile. It's so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of the day... but you don't want to get your photos back and see a look of perpetual worry and stress on your face. Remember, this is YOUR day... relax and enjoy it.... not only will it make the day all the more special... but you'll be far happier with the photos you get back. Nobody wants to look back at their wedding photos and wonder why they looked miserable all day!
