Is your media preference film or digital?
I am 100% digital which allows for more shots and faster proofing for the bride and groom.
How many photographers do you work with?
1 to 5 depending on the size of the event.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
It wouldn't be Jason Honea Photography without me.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I don't believe it is proper to do more than one wedding a week. Capturing this type of art takes skill, patience, and rest. Shooting a wedding is a major workout.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have a network of people in which we are prepared to step up to the plate if the worst should happen.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I bring back-up equipment for my back-up equipment! I could not imagine how it would feel if something went wrong on one of the most important day of someones life. It would be devestating.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have a wide range of packages that start with an hourly shoot and turn rate up to full event coverage.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do not take pictures while guest are eating so that might be considered a break.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel and accomidations outside the DFW metroplex must be paid for by the client and is usually factored into the contract.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
In most cases the initial proofs are ready for viewing 3 days after the wedding. The DVD slideshow is available the week after the wedding. THe wedding album is available 2 to 3 weeks after the wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
My proofs are offered for viewing on the clients MyWedding page. On the MyWedding page the client can view proofs, order prints, view the DVD slideshow, and view and order the album. A sample MyWedding page can be found here: http://www.jasonhonea.net/billyandheather/
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
All images are copyrighted.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I reserve the right to publish all images unless otherwise stated in the contract.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
They can be made available depending on the package.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Viewing of images, DVD slideshow, and albums are available on the clients MyWedding page. A sample MyWedding page can be found here:

What kind of albums do you offer?
I specialize in leatherbound storybook albums. I do however offer every size and style album availble on the market.
When will the client get the final album?
The wedding album is available for viewing around 2 to 3 weeks from the wedding.
