GOOD CLEAN FUN! Good Clean Fun Band, Good Clean Fun Band New York, Good Clean Fun Wedding Band New York, Good Clean Fun Irish Wedding Band New York, New York City, Long Island, Nassau County, Suffolk County, Westchester, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachussets, Rhode Island, Chicago, Cleveland.
HISTORY:Good Clean Fun was created by Michael Bruccoleri (guitar/ mandolin/ lead vocals/ band leader/ emcee), in January, 1997 when he approached a female vocalist/ guitarist (Eileen Fogarty), and told her about his idea, which was simply to start a great wedding and party band.
Their 2-piece band was originally named Brock & Fogarty. By the end of 1997, a full-time drummer (Lincoln Hubley) was added, and by the end of 1998, the band's name had been officially changed to 'Good Clean Fun'.
By 1999, GCF was going full swing, and had grown into a 4-piece band, which now included Matt Rocchio (bass/ vocals). GCF also had TWO keyboardist/ vocalists (Frankie Lees, and Greg Gruber), who were not officially in the band, but who played most major affairs with GCF.
In 2004, the band divided, with the guitarist and drummer going one way, and with Matt and Greg staying with Mike. Frankie remains a free-lancer. The other band became known as Eileen Fogarty and the Very Best, while Mike's band retained the name Good Clean Fun.
GOOD CLEAN FUN NOW:GCF is now a full-time 6-piece band, including female vocalist Lisa Kenny-LaMere, drummer Roger Murdock, and multi-instrumentalist, Keith Gurland. Keith plays tenor and alto sax, clarinet, flute, penny or tin whistle, and piano. GCF is not in pubs much anymore, but keeps very busy playing weddings parties and dinner dances. Although the standard line-up is 6 pieces, GCF can be hired with as few as 3 pieces, or as many as 9 or more (including horn section).
MATERIAL: GCF plays all forms of pop music, from Swing/ Big Band, to 50s & 60's Rock, to Reggae & Calypso, to Disco & Dance, New Wave, Classic Rock, 70s, 80s, 90s to now, R&B, Motown, Soul, Funk, Punk, Standards, Country, and lots and lots of Irish music.
TRAVEL: Although most of Good Clean Fun’s clients hail from the NY Tri-State area, the band has also played in PA, MA, RI, MD, OH, IN, IL and FL. GCF is also happy to perform abroad, having played in Ireland, England, Trinidad, and Phuket Thailand.
BAND MEMBER TIDBITS: Mike is formerly a member (2003-2006) of the wildly popular 60's band Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone. Additional résumé credits include: Sonny Geraci of The Outsiders & Climax ("Time Won't Let Me"), The Coasters("Yakety Yak"), The Chiffons ("One Fine Day"), and The Reflections ("Romeo And Juliet"). Greg has also toured with Herman's Hermits Starring Peter Noone. Roger is a former member of avant-garde band King Missile (Atlantic Records). He has performed and/or recorded with Joey Ramone, Ronnie Spector, Debbie Harry, Leslie West, The Martinets, The Messyheads, Wide Right, and Laurie and The Sighs, among others, and has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and the U.K. Keith has recently toured with many famous big bands, including Glenn Miller, Artie Shaw, and Tommy Dorsey. He is also a former member of The Micky Dolenz Band (The Monkees). Lisa was named "Irish Vocalist Of The Year" 2 consecutive years by The Irish Echo Newspaper. Matt is a graduate of Berklee College of Music. He has played with many in the big time ... too numerous to list here.
Good Clean Fun is a great band that keeps the dance floor packed. I've seen them several times as well as worked with them and have never seen an empty dance floor. Great music, and great people to work with.

The DJ is extremely experienced in playing weddings. He is a perfect ocmpliment to our band, playing the dance music that the band does not have in it's repertoire, and thus creating the perfect combination ... a musical combo that cannot be "stumped". The best of both worlds ... Band & DJ!
