Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Black & White, Sepia at no extra charge. We also utilize Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, NIK Color Effects and LumaPix Software for retouching, special effects and album design.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We have over 25 years of wedding photography experience in all lighting conditions(Natural Light, Candle Light with special effects filters). We also utilize a portable studio light for large group shots to maximize image quality.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We shoot all digital in Raw format to maximize image quality. After color correcting, we generate the Hi Res Image Disc in JPEG format.
How many photographers do you work with?
We are a husband and wife team. Nate is the main photographer and Samantha is the second shooter.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, we are the only photographers that will photograph your wedding. We do not subcontract our weddings. In 25 years we've never been late or missed a wedding.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We only book one wedding per day. Although we may cover 2 weddings per weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we have two photographers on call.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We shoot with three of the latest Canon Digital cameras fitted with the highest quality L Series Canon lens. Our lens include: 10-22mm lens, 16-35 mm L lens, 28-70mm L lens, 70-200mm L lens and a 85mm 1.8 lens. Flash Units include 3 Canon Flashes, 1- Sunpak 622, 1- 400WS Portable Studio Flash and 5 Pocket Wizard Transceivers and several light modifiers and reflectors. Oh, and a 4 ft step ladder for those unique angle shots.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Only one during the reception at the time the bride and groom are eating dinner.
Do you charge for travel?
No, unless the wedding is outside the Los Angeles Metro Area
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are available online for viewing and ordering in about 1-2 weeks after the wedding
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Our proofs are both online and on DVD-ROM in JPEG format
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Indefinitely, the Hi-Res Proofs are included in every package.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
No, the images are copyright free.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, in our contract, it clearly states that the images can be used for our advertisment and publishing purposes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes, the Hi-Res images (negatives) are included in every package.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, all images are available online within 1-2 weeks after the wedding.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer the finest quality hand crafted Kingston panoramic wedding albums with acrylic and panoramic photo covers. We also offer Art Leather, Leather Craftsman and Renaissance albums for a more traditional album. We can special order any wedding album on the market you prefer.
When will the client get the final album?
4-5 weeks after album design approval.
