Is your media preference film or digital?
I work in all digital format although I can shoot film on request for an additional fee.
How many photographers do you work with?
My packages are just with me unless otherwise specified however I will on occasion have a second shooter if I feel the need for one.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, unless there is an unforseen emergency, I will be the photographer the day of your event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I never book more than one wedding in a day and will only occasionally book more than one wedding in a weekend. If I do more than one wedding in a weekend, one wedding is almost always a low-key event.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I do have a network of photographers that I can call on if an emergency occurs.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring my camera, backup camera and a vast array of lenses and flashes.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I have a backup camera body as well as backup lenses and flashes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge hourly within my packages.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
I charge $200/hour per extra hour worked.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
None.
Do you charge for travel?
I charge for travel after the first hour from my home (about 50/60 miles).
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I tell my clients up to 2 weeks depending on my schedule but it can be sooner.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
I deliver your proofs online first and wait up to one month after to send you a proof disc if you have that in your package to wait for any changes that may need to be done.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proofs are online for 90 days but can be extended up to 120.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I retain the copyright to all images but if a proof disc is purchased I will include reproduction rights which will allow you to print the images but not sell or distribute them yourselves.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
If it is part of the package, yes.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer flush mount, magazine style and matted albums.
