About Us

We have been working as a team for about 6 years. Combined we have worked in the retail side of photography for over 10 years. We grew tired of the cold 15 minutes sessions and stressful atmosphere. We realized our creativity was very limited, too controlled and rushed by corporate.
It took months of planning and brainstorming on how we could change the customer’s photography experience. We know that our photography was a God given gift and we wanted to use it to the fullest! With that in mind, Contemporary Portraits was born. We like to say that we shoot classic, creative portraits with a contemporary flare.

As wedding photographers, we treat our future newlyweds as if they are our only clients. On your wedding day, we are there from the moment you start getting ready for your big day, to the time you depart as husband and wife. We also make it our goal to capture all of the details that sometimes get overlooked but took many months to prepare.
We love our job and feel that it is a blessing to do what we love for a living. We spend so much time and emotions with our clients that when we are finished working for you, we feel as if we have made new friends.
