Where to even begin, without these lovely ladies, my wedding day would have not been as beautiful as it was! When I got engaged, I immediately knew I was using Cherish Events. I had known Ashley from working with her at a previous job and watched, from a distance, their business grow. I never knew, though, how much I truly needed these two ladies with me, not just the day of, but throughout my entire wedding journey. Lauren and Ashley are extremely professional and met every crazy need of mine over the past year.

Ashley’s creative eye took spark when it came to our venue and the transformation of it all was spectacular! Lauren’s organizational skills blew me away and dealt with my stress/every little question leading up to and the day of with so much pose! These girls’ detail to perfection is absolutely undeniable!

My wedding day, honestly, would not have been what it was without them! I am forever grateful for all that they did for myself and my family, even watching my baby daughter at times!

The first is the moment I walked into the reception room for the first time. I was completely stunned by what Lauren had created. Somehow she had taken every conversation we'd had over the past year and transformed it into something even more beautiful than I had imagined.

As a television producer, logistics are what I do every single day. Coordinating countless moving pieces is literally my job. The world's best wedding planner. I'm type A and also a busy resident with a tough schedule and no free time. Lauren was incredibly understanding, flexible, and receptive to our needs from our first call to the day of. We used her full planner offering and have zero regrets. I woke up the day of the wedding with no thoughts other than to enjoy the day. Everything was methodical and organized, no detail was left out. Family and friends were so impressed with how flawless the day went. I literally didn't think twice about anything and knew she had it all under control. To top it off, she's friendly, approachable, normal, and an incredibly calming presence. All vendors were impressed by her level of detail and organization. Her network is unbelievably extensive and she maintains excellent relationships with vendors across the board. We are so grateful for her and the Cherish Events team making our day absolutely perfect. Every detail of our wedding at Battello in Jersey City was executed flawlessly and with time to spare. I don't know how she does it. In an era in which weddings are increasingly costly and time consuming, hiring Lauren and her team is easily the best decision you can make to assure you get to enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Wow! I cannot say enough about Cherish Events, and Ashley and Lauren. My oldest daughter knew them before she was even engaged and immediately connected with them when she did. I remember her saying, mom, I know you may not approve, but…in the middle of it all, I did approve. These ladies and their staff are worth their weight in gold! I walked in and enjoyed the entire wedding from beginning to end. I didn’t have to be one of those moms who traded her evening gown for jeans/tee to prep or clean up. That was 6 years ago, so when my youngest daughter got engaged, Cherish Events was my first contact. I mostly had Ashley, as she is Orlando based, assist. She handled every question/concern with an immediate response and problem solved with me. She is very supportive. When she found out my daughter had broken her right ankle/leg 3 ½ months before her wedding, she was a force to be reckoned with! She totally relieved everyone’s minds. Two days before the wedding, the DJ (we also used him 6 years ago) unexpectedly became quite ill - Ashley had Plan B ready to go before she even called us. We trusted her judgement completely. There were other smaller hiccups along the way, and Ashley guided us through them professionally. Ladies, in the event you are looking for a hands down, the best wedding planners, you will be happy if you choose Cherish Events.

Cherish Events have been the wedding planners for both of my daughters weddings and they are not just a professional acquaintance, but have become family. Their expertise in what they do and who they recommend and work within all other areas of event planning is nothing but the best! My family could sit back and enjoy every part of each wedding day without any worry, because Ashley & Lauren take charge and make sure every part of the day is exactly as your bride has dreamed it should be. I have to tell you, as the groom in the wedding couple, I was initially a little skeptical of the need for a wedding planner, thinking (short-sightedly, perhaps even stupidly): c'mon, how much is there to it, really? But as the wedding planning progressed and the complexity grew, I quickly realized we were wayyyy out of our depth, and that's where Lauren swooped in and saved the day!

Lauren G of Cherish Events was an absolute delight to work with, full stop. From our initial meeting, my (now) wife and I signed off the Zoom call, looked at each other and instantly knew: yep, she's the one! She was so professional and so organized that she instantly put our minds at ease. She was incredibly communicative and went above and beyond the call of duty, attending to our every need and question promptly, accurately and COMPASSIONATELY!

She made what was quickly beginning to feel like an overwhelming process into something that warranted the joyousness of the occasion. My wife and I found ourselves constantly spontaneously turning and saying to each other how much we loved Lauren, and how taken care of we felt. From start to finish, she guided us through each step of the process, and even though she was technically "only" our day-of-coordinator, she felt more like our full-on wedding planner. We felt cared for throughout the process, and it felt like Lauren had a personal stake in making sure our wedding day was the best it could possibly be. And was it? ABSOLUTELY! Best weekend of our lives, and it all went off without a hitch! No, seriously - with any wedding you would think at least SOME little thing would go wrong, right? But no, not a single thing did. Literally: nothing! Actually, not only did it not go wrong, it went as right as it could possibly go. Once we got to the venue, we really felt like we didn't have to worry about a single thing. Our only job: enjoy the best day of our lives and PARTY!!! Lauren was on the scene early, organizing and coordinating the vendors, cueing everything to begin on time and smoothly, and checking in with us constantly to make sure we felt like the day was living up to our expectations (it was! and then some!!). And I would be remiss if I didn't mention her wonderful colleague Amber, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes as Lauren's right-hand-woman (thanks, Amber!).

And even the next day, after the wedding ended, Lauren checked in with us to follow-up and make sure we still felt great about everything. Again, the phrase I would use is "taken care of" -- that's how we felt the entire time working with Lauren, and we would give her 5 stars in every possible category! I don't say this lightly, but if you're reading this review while trying to choose a wedding planner / day of coordinator, I have to tell you: you would be CRAZY not to choose Lauren G / Cherish Events for your wedding!!!

It’s hard to put into words how wonderful Cherish Events has been to work with, I don’t think my wedding would’ve come together without Lauren and the team. My husband and I found Cherish early on into planning (thanks Reddit!), and every step of the way was made so much smoother. Lauren’s calm, professional expertise as well as organizational skills and warm personality helped ground us in creating the exact celebration we were hoping for. Anything we needed, she was there! Finding vendors, joining us for meetings and asking all the right questions, decor suggestions, calming us down when needed, I could go on. We hired Lauren for “month of” wedding planning at the Prospect Park Boathouse, and we are so glad we did. Throughout the process, Lauren always made us feel more confident and less stressed. Wherever possible, she took work off of us. Despite it being the busy season for weddings, she was always super responsive to all of our questions. She clearly knows the venue, its rules, and how to manage the smallest details about an event at the Boathouse. Her presence on the day was calming. She was confident and unobtrusive. All of her input was precise and meaningful. Highly recommended!
