Professional, black and white, semi-formal attireunless otherwise requested.
Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?
Yes if the audition is in or near San Luis Obispo or other attangements have been made. Demos are available at www.slowriter.com or can be mailed or sent by email on an mp3 file. I can also consult with bride and groom about writing a custom song for their ceremony or first dance or can perform for bride and groom during a consultation.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
Usually an hour before the event and 45 minutes after the perfomance to tear down.
How much space do you usually require?
An eight by eight area is enough space. If performing on wet grass, there should be at least a plywood board where equipment and performer will be. There should also be access to electrical outlets. We have a PA sound system available if one is not supplied by other vendors.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Not if the event is within five miles of San Luis Obispo. The amount varies depending on distance. A package price, including the travel expenses is available.
