“Maybe it’s her love of the beach that lured Kimi Carrier and her distinctive, energetic art style back to the sun drenched coast of Florida and brought her artistic journey full circle. Kimi’s journey towards a career in art began when she left Florida for Savannah, Georgia, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the prestigious Savannah College of Art and Design. After graduating from SCAD she made her way north to New York City, where she worked as a Production Coordinator for an artist representative agency. In the Big Apple she worked with such high profile clients as RCA, Vogue, Playboy, W and a host of others. After her time in New York, Kimi returned to the Sunshine State where she continues to add to her already impressive repertoire. Whether she’s shooting haunting black and white travel photography, vibrant shots of bands and musical performances or cutting edge fashion photography, her unique style always shines through. And when the time comes for traditional photography, from wedding and engagement shots to family portraits and her poignant and whimsical “Little People,” Kimi brings that artistry and style to those clients who want something far beyond the ordinary.”
