Over the years, Cal has found that you can put together a prize winning image with great light, composition and effect, but when the client sees the image again the only thing they will think of is how they felt at that moment the image was taken. If it was'nt an enjoyable or meaningful experience, the image is worthless.

Cal has won awards for his photography and albums, and in 2004, on his first attempt, won the Wedding an Portrait Photographers International Print Competition for "Best Bride and Groom" and the "Grand Award" for the best of the competition.
