Cary enjoys using 100% cotton rag papers for digitally printing processes and can also offer letterpress printing as well hand-silkscreening and custom illustrations.  Let me know what process, imagery and colors interest you and I will be happy to work with you to come up with your own custom invitations for your special event.  After I get a good idea about what you are looking for and can take into account the type of printing, handwork, and custom illustration and type, I will put together a timeline and a rough estimate based on your quantity and type of invitation your are looking to create.  To start, please e-mail me with some information about your event and dates and if you have any ideas so far for your invitations. Then I will contact you to discuss further.

ByCary is a delightful find in Charlottesville! I could not be happier to refer clients. Cary is a gifted artist and her designs are the beginning of the event process. Using the unique elements that Cary creates, we then team to embed the beauty into the entire event. Save the dates, invitations, maps, resp cards, programs, menus, place cards - all or just a few can be created as a unique element for the day.

I recommend starting the custom design process at least 4 to 5 months from your mailing date.

Rush orders can be accommodated at an extra cost.

Things to keep in mind:

• I suggest mailing your Save-the-dates 5-10 months prior to the wedding date.
• 5-7 months is suggested for weddings with few out-of-town guests.
• 7-10 months is suggested for lots of out-of-town guests or destination weddings.
• I recommend mailing Wedding Invitations 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding date.
• 8-10 weeks is suggested for lots of out-of-town guests or destination weddings.
