I am about celebrating your wedding day with beautiful photographs from pre-ceremony through the limousine wisking you off to your dream honeymoon. I am about photographing your wedding, capturing the emotion and memories as you two blend your lives together.
I am about being focused on you two, while blending with your family and friends, photographing your wedding with professionalism. Easy going by nature, I am about putting you and your guests at ease while photographing your wedding in an unobtrusive way.
I am about blending my finely honed craft and skills, both technical and "people skills," into a collection of images combining the best of photojournalistic and traditional photography.
I am about photographing your celebration as your wedding day to un-folds. I am about helping you relax and enjoying your day, unencumbered by tradition or pre-conceived ideas.
I am about photographing your spontaneous moments with creative portraiture, creating together the images of your dreams. I am about showcasing you two on your wedding day .... because that’s what the best in wedding photgraphy is about.
I had heard Britt McAllister's name mentioned in the Atlanta Georgia wedding circuit many times, for my having lived and worked in Atlanta for 14 years. One of my best DJ friends, Ted Crowder, hired Britt to shoot his personal wedding a few years back, but it wasn't until we bumped into each other at a Tampa Bay Perfect Wedding Guide networking luncheon last year, that we hit it off and became quick friends. First of all, let me back track ... when a wedding professional selects another wedding pro for their own wedding, enough said!
My experience with Britt has been absolutely wonderful. He's a ton of fun to be around, which translates into a relaxed and happy bride and groom, plus - he's always in the background shooting pictures. I've never had to find him to capture a special moment, and my couples love that they can be themselves and not have to dodge the lens. Yes, there will be the usual posed pictures if you request them, but you can also allow Britt to do whatever he feels is perfect for you and the atmosphere you want to create. You will be amazed at just how natural you and your guests will appear. With Britt the phrase "candid photos" means he will capture you and your wedding day at it's best. I highly recommend Britt McAllister and look forward to working with him because I know that after my couples have had their "must have" after the ceremony pictures taken, they will feel fresh, relaxed and ready to party with me!
One of Britt's most sought after packages, because he resides in and knows Saint Petersburg FL so well, is his Engagement Photo Session that takes you through the streets of downtown and along the Saint Pete Pier. Talk about beautiful and romantic ... you really must contact Britt for an interview, and please tell him Chuck from TampaBayDJ.com referred you!
Britt McAllister is an up-incoming photographer that people need to watch out for. With his awesome personality and astonishing work he is incomparable!!! Britt's turnaround time for his work is great and all of our brides didn't even know he was there, let alone know he was taking pictures. Recommending Britt is easy because we know what to expect with him, and his work will leave you speechless.
I've had the pleasure of working with Britt. He has a relaxed and gentle personality and needs absolutely no direction.
He is a free spirited photographer who takes moments and captures them forever without any one even realizing the magic that has been put on film...until they see the proofs!
Britt's work is beautiful. He captures the beauty of his subjects.
He is award winning and after you look at his work and talk to him you will know why.
Britt is on of the finest professionals in the industry. He truly CARES about the happiness and satisfaction of the couple! He is always there when they or I need him, I find his work amazing, he is creative and thorough and doesn't make the clients wait too long to receive their photos. He is very talented and knows how to photograph a wedding without being intrusive to either the couple or the officiant, and for that I am grateful. I highly recommend Britt, without reservation.

Additional Questions and Answers
All couple’s, therefore all weddings, are unique celebrations that reflect the desires and tastes of the couple. After shooting hundreds of weddings I am still honored to be included in each wedding that I photograph. There are some common threads among the questions I receive that I would like to answer.
Q) Who will photograph our wedding?
A) Me, Britt McAllister. Couples choose a specific photographer for a ’style’ and service.
Q) At the last wedding I attended the photographer took too long with the group photography.
A) I am adept shooting groups with an easy flow. We will efficiently, yet smoothly move your wedding party through this part of your wedding day with the finesse you deserve and expect.
Q) There are no posed pictures on your web site. What’s up with that?
A) Please don’t tell anyone, but there are! To me the experience you have being photographed is as important as the photograph itself. With the exception of the group and ’family documentary’ photographs, most photos at your wedding will be the in the photojournalistic style. Many of our favorite signature photographs don’t "just happen," but are made on a relaxing short walk with just the couple and myself. Creating these portraits filled with the raw emotion of your wedding day is FUN!
Q) How do you handle your consultations?
A) After intiatial contact, usually by email, we set up a time to meet in person. At this point you have already seen my photographs on the web, and want to see if I am a nice guy. I am! All factors equal, I always encourage couples to choose their photographer with whom they are most comfortable. Your photographer will be with you from pre-wedding until the limo has gone, as well as through the completion of your album and /or photo order.
Q) Do you use two photographers?
A) It depends. 2 photographers at an intimate beach wedding with 75 guests, I consider intrusive. An 8-hour wedding with 400 guests, you bet! Let’s discuss your wedding day and customize my photographic services to fit your needs.
Q) What kind of camera do you use?
A) Professional Canon Digital SLR (single lens relex) cameras. Having for many years photographed professional and college football, some games in driving rain and extreme cold weather with sleet and snow. Canon cameras give me the confidence in my gear I want to give you my undestracted attention. Fortunally, most weddings occur under better weather conditions.
