Now her makeup skills are undeniably Amazing! She has products that you could only dream of and her years of experience make her know what to use on your skin.
Day of my wedding - she worked on my bridesmaids at the hotel and they all looked gorgeous! They each selected different hairdo's and Melissa delivered on each beautifully! She brought us a bottle of champagne which we enjoyed. She kept us all on schedule and once she was done she met me at my ceremony venue where she did touch ups for the grand entrance! She stayed after the ceremony and did touch ups for my wedding pictures!
Seriously, i wish I could carry her in my pocket everyday because she makes you look absolutely fabulous and she makes you feel fabulous as well.

Melissa was one of the best wedding vendors that I worked with. She is a true professional and did a fantastic job from start to finish. Melissa is a great person who has a very nice touch, which made everyone feel so comfortable. She did my hair and make-up for engagement photos, however I did not do a "wedding trial" since I don't live in town. I basically had just a few ideas of what I wanted for my wedding look. I put my trust in Melissa and let her go to work. She listened and gave me everything I wanted and some things I never expected. She did a beautiful job on my hair and makeup and it looked great in person and on camera. One of the best things about Melissa, is that she is very thorough and was there with me from start to finish. She did a great job touching up my make-up before, during and after the ceremony.We even did a "second look" for the reception, which was amazing! I can't thank Melissa enough for her amazing work, personality, and patients! Do your self a favor and go with Brides by Melissa for your next event!

Melissa was fantastic on our wedding day and I would use her for any event I'd attend, not just weddings!
She is every bit the professional, turned up before the scheduled time and got herself set up waiting for my bridesmaids to arrive. Melissa was able to deal with some last minute requests and altered the schedule so everyone could be ready on time, as our mother's (finally) decided to get their hair/makeup done. She did a brilliant job with everyone's hair and makeup, making all of us look beautiful. She is easy to work with and makes you feel relaxed, she never seemed to be flustered or overwhelmed and was really sweet bringing a champagne gift for us girls while getting ready.
Melissa to me went beyond her role of being just our makeup and hair stylist, she was attentive throughout our prepping and photograph sessions by either adjusting someone's hair or applying makeup, she also helped with positioning and other little things for the bridal party as when needed. She stayed an hour longer after our ceremony and refreshed my makeup, took out my veil and adjusted my hair before our grand entrance as newlyweds.
Melissa is great value for the service she gives you, which is 110%.

I cannot explain in words how amazing Melissa is!! I actually lost count on our wedding day of how many times she saved us! This girl has everything!! Every two minutes someone was running in asking me do you have such and such? Melissa always answered "oh I have some of that" It was amazing- anywhere from safety pins to hold up the ring bearers pants to excedrin migraine for me! She was fast acting with touch ups at the venue and so sweet getting along with all of my bridemaids and even my mother. :-). Not to mention our hair and make-up was beautiful, and I had never seen my 11 year old step-daughter look so elegant and like such a lady! I definitely recommend Melissa for your wedding day!!

Mel was by far AMAZING! Any question I had leading up to my wedding she promptly answered. She was early for our appt and finished on time. I looked and felt amazing. Her work was natural yet photo amazing

Melissa did my hair and make-up for my wedding, including 7 bridesmaids! She was very helpful every step of the way. I knew I wanted to still look like me on my wedding day, and not look like I had layers of make-up on my face, and she did just that without sacrificing the longevity of the look. The pictures turned out great whether they were taken in the early afternoon, or during the last dance.
I was really impressed with her detailed schedule prior to the day of, and even more impressed that everything went exactly as scheduled! Given I let my bridesmaids do their hair any way they wanted, which can be more challenging, she was flexible and made each of them even more beautiful than they already were.
On location, she even helped with organizing my girls for pictures and stayed through the ceremony to ensure I got a touch up after the tears. :)
I would HIGHLY recommend Melissa not only for hair and make-up, but for day-of coordinating as well. She listens to you, stays calm (necessary for a wedding!), and is nothing but professional.

Melissa was amazing she went above and beyond her job! I hired her for my may 17th wedding the first 6/7 hours were included in her price but you had the option in paying to keep her around longer. I took advantage of this since my wedding was an all day affair. Melissa stayed with us for 13 hours.

The day started promptly at 5:30am she brought her wonderful assistant Jenny to help with all my brides maids. I had a total of 3 bridesmaids, my MOH, and my mom and each of them ended up looking AMAZING! during the photos she constantly watched out for me making sure I stayed out of the sun, touched up my hair and make up before every photo.

She also acted like a personal wedding planner/ assistant! Unfortunately i can not rave about all my venders like I can for Melissa ... but Melissa helped smooth out their problems. (We got married at the LA arboretum and the arboretum venue coordinator ditched my husband and I after one of our family photo sessions. After 30 minutes (if not longer) we realized he wasn't coming back. Luckily Melissa was with us and she called my wedding coordinator who in turn sent the venue coordinator to get us.

Also when anyone in my bridal party was thirsty she seemed to always have a bottle of water on hand! And when my cascading bridal bouquet started falling apart she helped pin the flowers back in... and sadly after a while she had to call our florist to redo them because they just kept falling out. She was AMAZING and far worth her cost! I highly recommend her. She and my wedding planner saved my big day :) I'm so glad I had them.

Oh and make up wise she uses some very nice makeup that's good with sensitive skin like mine. And she doesn't cake it on too thick. I never wear make up so i was really worried but I'm glad it wasn't so obvious. Also when doing trials she comes to you vs you having to meet her up at a salon, and she was also always available to answer questions and worked around your schedule.

Melissa was amazing! She was extremely quick to respond to emails, was very professional and an all around cool person to be around. She did exactly what I asked for and didn't need a ton of direction to understand what I wanted. Melissa did mine, my bridal party's and family's makeup for our wedding. Everyone was more than pleased. If you'd like a makeup artist who is understanding, skilled and professional you are in the right place!

Melissa was very friendly and accommodating. She was professional, organized and went above and beyond from first interaction to end. Her hair and makeup was great and she took the time to work with me on what look I wanted. She did daytime and nighttime look adjustments. I didn't use her coordinator services but I could sense by her going above and beyond, assisting with photos adjusting my skirt...etc that she would be and excellent coordinator. Bridal party, friends and family loved her! You will be in great hands if you choose her!

Melissa was fabulous!! I hired her to do my makeup for my wedding and couldn't have found anyone better. It was important to me that I still looked like me on my big day, and not overly done. I felt gorgeous the entire day.
