We've shot in all lighting conditions, from pitch black basements to bright sunny outdoors. We are confident we can get your photos no matter the conditions we find ourselves in!
Is your media preference film or digital?
100% digital - it allows for greater creativity, risk taking, and produces less environmental waste.
How many photographers do you work with?
All of our packages include two photographers. There is so much going on during your wedding that it is physically impossible for one person to capture it all. After all the work you've put into your wedding, you deserve two perspectives.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, barring uncontrolled circumstances of course.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We never book more than one wedding per day. It allows us to give your wedding the attention it deserves.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have a select group of handpicked photographers that I would trust to take over should there be some catastrophic event preventing us from making it to your event.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Blueflash uses all Nikon equipment. At a minimum we will have three Nikon bodies, a large assortment of lenses, numerous speedlights, plenty of extra batteries, memory cards, and other various photography equipment. We come prepared.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Weddings are full day productions, not hourly events. Our packages reflect that.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes, extra coverage is available if necessary.
Do you charge for travel?
Please inquire about destination weddings or weddings outside the tri-state area. We would be happy to accommodate.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We strive to produce final images within two to three weeks from the date of the wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The client doesn't have to deal with messy proofs, sorting through two thousand photos from their event. That's work; that's the photographer's job. One of the reasons you hire a professional photographer is to carefully sort through and choose the subset of images that effectively tell your story.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Copyrights are released to you. They're your photos!
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Blueflash reserves the right to post the photos on Facebook, the website, the blog, etc. We want the world to appreciate your wedding, too!
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
The client receives high resolution, non-watermarked digital files that are print ready.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Your full album will be available at the Blueflash website for you, your friends, and your family to view easily in a password protected gallery.
