Describe your DJ style:
We cater to the bride and groom and believe that their special day needs to be about THEM. We spend a great deal of time with every bride and groom and get to know them personally which helps us know exactly what their expectations are.
What is your usual attire?
Formal...tuxedo attire.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No, we obtain it.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have a total of 3 DJ's who work for our company. Depending on if we have other bookings or not for the same date, 1 to 2 DJ's will be at the event.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Usually 3 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
No. We've done many weddings involving several different ethnic groups.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Yes, lighting, bubble machine, karaoke, cordless mics, fog machine, etc.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Yes, we require a table. We can set up as quickly as 20 minutes, however, usually allow ourselves plenty of time based on the venue.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We act as emcee for the reception and will talk occasionally between songs; however, we NEVER try to monopolize the reception...again it's about the bride and groom, NOT the DJ.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Yes, we would prefer to receive something to eat. Usually the banquet place will provide the meal upon instruction from the bride and groom.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Yes.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes
What is your overtime rate?
$100.00 per hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
This is something we negotiate on an individual basis. It depends on where the reception is located and whether we would have to spend the night or not.
