After reading his stellar reviews, exploring his helpful blog posts, and hearing from the Lincklaen House team how amazing he is, we knew we’d be in good hands. But even with all the high praise, Peter still exceeded every single expectation.

His organization blew our minds. He crafted a beautifully detailed wedding timeline that helped us stay on track and calm throughout the planning process. He was proactive, communicative, and so generous with his time and expertise. From coordinating our wedding party’s grand entrance to perfectly trimming down the verses of our first dance songs, Peter made everything feel effortless.

He honored every single request and preference we had and then some. His thoughtful approach and seamless behind-the-scenes coordination made the entire day run smoothly. The energy he brought to our reception was unmatched, and the dance floor was never empty. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the music and how talented our DJ was!

We hired Peter for our wedding at the Lincklaen (Cazenovia, NY). He came highly recommended from our venue and with our wedding having a room flip (the ceremony room flips into the dining room), we wanted a DJ that had experience with this to be able to move people around easily. Peter was extremely professional, had all the right equipment/gear, was EXTREMELY detail oriented and prompt with all responses. He asks for 3 lists of songs - must plays, maybes and do not plays and was very strict about these lists. He said he would not under any circumstances play the do not plays even if it was one of the mothers asking! He played individual clips of selected songs for each person during the wedding party announcements. We did custom tracks for the cake cutting and ceremony. We care greatly about music and Peter was truly the perfect choice! Truly thank you so much Peter.

Peter was very responsive gave us great ideas on how to set up. His online services were easy to use.

Peter is very professional and prompt during the entire planning process all the way through the event. After signing with him, we had no worries and knew that we had made an excellent decision going with him. He assists in anything you need along the way and was very understanding and sympathetic regarding us having to postpone because of COVID. Even though we had to have a Sunday wedding, he did an amazing job getting people on the dance flow and staying on the dance floor the entire night - overall, he was amazing to work with!

From the start Peter was very professional, responsive and extremely organized! He was very helpful with every detail/question/need we requested from him including several song selections for dinner, dancing, and specific songs we wanted to hear throughout the night. We would highly recommend him if you are music lovers and picky like us! He offered great insight and suggestions for day-of scheduling and time management -- even if there were some last minute changes. We had great feedback from our guests and the dance floor was packed the entire evening! We also went with his up lighting services which were absolutely beautiful!! When we were looking for a DJ for our wedding, we quickly realized we would be more comfortable with a personal, small-business DJ rather than working through a large company. Peter delivered on all fronts and was fantastic to work with through the whole process. We were planning our wedding from afar, but he put us at ease right away. He responded to all of our communications quickly, was extremely organized, and accommodated last-minute changes graciously. Our wedding set-up was not conventional, in a backyard, on a VERY hot day, and Peter took it in stride. We entrusted Peter with most of the music choices, and he did a fantastic job. Many of our guests remarked after the fact how great the DJ and the playlist were. You cannot go wrong hiring Peter!

Peter is a great DJ! He is very organized, offers great tips for wedding planning and time management. He keeps the dance floor full throughout the event. We would highly recommend him to others, and there were many positive comments from our wedding guests. In fact one couple at our own wedding asked for more info about Peter and they quickly contacted him and booked him for their June wedding. We pulled our wedding together in a very short timeframe, and we were able to pull it off successfully because of his tips and planning. Everyone had a great time and we would highly recommend him for anyone in need of DJ services.

From start to finish, we were confident in our decision to working with Peter. He was always just an email away. Our wedding needed three different setups, which Peter had no problem doing! We also requested special edits for our bridal party introductions, first dance, father-daughter dance and mother-son dance, and they were done perfectly! At the reception, it was hard to leave the dance floor because we were having so much fun with our family and friends. We wanted a dance party and that's what we got! All-in-all, our wedding day was perfect and Peter really played a huge role in making it amazing!

Out of all our wedding vendors, Peter was by far the most professional. We loved working with him! We found a number of our vendors simply by asking family and friends. This was also the case with Peter; Rachel’s uncle used to work with him many years ago and recommended Peter’s DJ services to us. We were so glad to make that connection!

Prior to the wedding, we met Peter in person once - the day we signed the contract - and otherwise communicated over email and Skype. It was perfect for us since we held the wedding in Central NY but planned it from San Francisco. Peter was always quick to respond to emails and always incredibly helpful.

As we got to the week before the wedding we changed our mind on what we wanted for music playing during dinner. We told Peter to play songs from the 1950s to today over the course of dinner - essentially walking us through the decades. That was all the direction he needed to run with it and make it a hit. We trusted Peter to pick songs when we couldn't; we decided a day or two before the wedding that we wanted to do the “shoe game” during the reception and delegated the song selection to him without a second thought. He nailed it - with game show music!

Our event was outside and the dinner and reception were held primarily inside a large tent. We used Peter’s wireless uplights to help illuminate the tent. This was HUGE for us. One of our biggest worries going into this event was powering everything on generators. Knowing that Peter had *wireless* lights he could bring for us - that ran on batteries and wouldn’t need the generator was a huge win for us. He let us customize the colors we used for the uplights to match the wedding colors.

Peter is extremely detailed in his planning and preparation prior to the event which we saw reflected as a seamlessly run event - with him leading the way. We’d hire him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to anyone who may want DJ services in the future.
