This review is long overdue! We wanted an outdoor wedding in December, and we got it! Bates was the perfect choice for us. We toured many venues but kept going back to Bates. The abundance of trees and the colors of nature combined with the beautiful outdoor reception area with market lighting and dance floor was the perfect match. We planned our wedding in under 3 months and it would not have been possible without the help from Amanda at Bates. She was truly amazing and did it during a very busy time for the farm. They have so many options available and are very flexible with the aesthetic that you want. You can rent just about everything through them and personalize your wedding package and most places will not let you do that. We anticipated and welcomed rain on the day of the wedding. It was never an issue and Amanda made sure everything worked out, and it did. The rain even stopped right as the ceremony began! Everyone at the farm was very professional and kind. We worked off of their excellent vendor list which made everything easy since we would not have to explain anything to the vendors, they knew exactly what to do and who to contact. We also used them for coordination since we trusted Amanda to handle everything. They are very transparent with what they offer and the costs, which in this industry is so difficult to find. Everything was very straight forward and flexible. We had a small wedding and were very pleased to be charged for that, and not be charged for a minimum guest count that we did not meet. Our guests still compliment us on the venue! They have a nice bridal room with vanity and full-length mirrors and seating, groom room with couch and full-length mirror, and easily accessed restrooms. Not to mention the animals and gift shop for the perfect snacks! If you’re an outdoorsy couple but still want some trendy aspects, this venue is perfect! I recently got married at Bates Nut Farm this past November. The location and venue was absolutely gorgeous for my outdoor wedding. It was beyond beautiful and I loved being out in nature with all the trees and fields! Bates and their team, especially Lauren were absolutely AMAZING!!! They stayed in communication with me from the moment I booked right up to clean up the day off! They were able to accommodate our large family with over 200 person head count. Lauren coordinated all my rentals and assisted with driving us around in the golf cart to various locations so we could snap some beautiful shots around the pumpkin patch. This location was very affordable and included all tables, chairs, linens, coffee and water as well as beautiful string and market lights around the reception area! Honestly there isn't much more I can say other then the location is truly exceptional, the bridal suite is gorgeous and Lauren and the entire Bates Team is truly AMAZING!

My wedding ceremony and reception will be held here in December. The coordinators are so kind and helpful. They really make you feel at home and are flexible in alot of things. They make it easy to stay within your budget! It is a beautiful location and I cannot wait for my wedding to come!
