AZ Celebrity DJ  is family owned by the Sandovals and have been in business since 2003 here in Phoenix. We specialize in weddings doing anywhere from 50-75 weddings a year. One of the unique things about us is we listen to each of our couples and play the music you request in your meeting with us and dont just play whats popular or what we want to hear or like. You will meet with us and we the owners do all wedding timelines and weddings. - WE WILL NEVER CONTRACT THEM OUT TO A NEW DJ OR A COLLEGE KID WHO HAS JUST STARTED djing. This is so important when your interviewing companies that you make sure you meet with who will be at your wedding and not someone who takes the booking and then sub contracts out your event. We also have added a wonderful team member Joe Matras who has been in the music industry for over 30 years - He comes to us from NEW YORK where he has performed as an Emcee/DJ in over 600 weddings in the New York Area along with owning and running the sales department for a large New York Dj Company.

Also we include everything in our package such as lighting, ceremony music, unlimited hours, microphones, Upgraded BOSE soundsystem , photo montage and discounted chair covers are available through our sister company AZ CHAIR COVERS. Our packages range from 795.00 -995.00 depending on day of week and time of day. We look forward to hearing from you and feel free to call us so you can come see us at an event soon ! AZ CELEBRITY DJ IS A FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS AND WAS STARTED ONCE THE SANDOVALS ARRIVED PHOENIX FIVE YEARS AGO - JUAN WAS A CELEBRITY DJ IN HOLLYWOOD AT SEVERAL CLUBS ON SUNSET FOR MANY YEARS - IN PHOENIX THE CLUB DJ INDUSTRY WAS NOT REALLY WHAT HE WAS INTERESTED IN DOING SO HE MADE THE SWITCH TO WEDDINGS AND ENTERTAINING. WE NOW DO ABOUT 75 WEDDINGS A YEAR AND ARE GROWING. WE WOULD LOVE TO ADD YOUR NEW FAMILY INTO OUR DJ FAMILY -WE CONSIDER ALL OF OUR BRIDES AND GROOMS PART OF OUR EXTENDED FAMILY.

 

 

1. Some Great advice would be to ask your wedding Dj/Mc if you may come and view them at an event and make sure you can see that he has good equipment and knows how to work the crowd!

2. If you do not have a wedding planner please put someone in charge of day of contact details - so you the bride will not be bothered with little problems on your wedding day. I see this happen a lot and Im not sure why the bride does delegate to the bridesmaids or a parent or someone else so she can have fun getting ready for her big day.

3. Hire a company that can provide you with referrals and a contract ! This is big I can’t tell you how many brides call us last minute and say my friend was going to dj but just backed out! Dont hire a friend with a IPOD thats never done a wedding - BIG MISTAKE _

4. Don't hire a friend to use an ipod - This is so unprfessional at a wedding and so so many things go wrong - Sometime we will be at a venue that has two weddings going on and the staff will come over and ask  if we have a certain song or cd the other wedding can borrow. I will ask if they have a dj or whats the deal - 90% of the time they have an ipod and its a disaster for them.
