Such a fun night, great music selections

Juan was such a blast to work with! He had all the different music genres and he played all requested songs. We did such a fun rodeo entrance and he killed it! We highly recommend Juan. His detailed online sheet helped tremendously when planning the music, and he sends to you months in advance (you can always edit it too up to the days before the wedding).

Amazing services!

Juan is truly a gem! We are so happy that we hired him, he kept on top of the ceremony and reception timelines and made everything stress free! Which is what every bride needs on her wedding day!

Such a great time!

We had Joe as our DJ for the night he was nothing shot of amazing! He provided great customer service and gave us great ideas for music and activities to have during the reception. His energy was awesome and made sure everyone was up and dancing! I definitely recommend using this company for your events!

Absolutely phenomenal!

DJ Joey was the absolute best! he was flexible and accommodating to our crazy military schedule. he took time out of his day to call us and made sure we were well taken care of. we and our guests had a blast! my husband and I would 100% recommend! I don't have pictures of our reception yet but here is a picture of us looking so happyyyyy. Thank you for your service and for making our wedding day the best day ever :))

Danced the night away

Excellent customer service, easy to work with. Allows you to customize your playlist. Juan had my guests dancing all night and allowed them to choose songs. This is probably the most important part of your wedding, entertainment! Well organized, thank you.

Excellent DJ

Joe did a fantastic job as our DJ. From the moment we met with him to plan out our day, I knew he was organized, detail oriented, and very professional. He planned out our ceremony/reception timelines to the minute, and for someone like me who likes details and planning, I appreciated this so much. Joe listened to our needs/wants and executed our vision. We received so many compliments about the music Joe played and he kept our guests on the dancefloor all night long. Great DJ for our wedding!

Juan was so awesome on our wedding day! He kept everything running smoothly and the party going into the night! He has a foolproof form to fill out online that outlines all the ceremony music and special dances for the reception. It couldn’t have been easier! Can’t recommend him enough!

Joe M. is the best!!!!

Joe M. is the best DJ! We had a small intimate wedding and Joe made sure the music was perfect beginning with our ceremony, throughout the night, with the most important dances, for our last dance, and at the very end for our send off! He kept us on track in the weeks and days coming up to the wedding to ensure we had the music we wanted and on our wedding day, he coordinated the schedule perfectly, and created the perfect energy on the dance floor! Our wedding day was the most important day and Joe made sure everything was perfect! Joe is genuine, he truly cares, and will make sure your day is exactly the way you want it! Thank you Joe for everything!

Excellent DJ

AZ Celebrity DJ was amazing for our wedding!! Juan played all the music we requested and kept the guests entertained. We played the newlywed game, garter toss and bouquet toss etc. He got the crowd super excited and pumped as we walked in for our grand entrance at the reception. Everything was right on schedule and went perfectly! Throughout the night Juan would come over to us and our wedding party tables to make sure we had everything we wanted. He truly enjoys this job and made sure we had the perfect night. Thank you Juan!

We had heard from others that Juan was the best and that we HAD TO have him as our DJ - he did not disappoint! He had ideas when we needed them and let us lead when we knew what we wanted. He kept our guests entertained and all of the events of the evening went right as planned & on schedule. Every detail was handled and we were able to enjoy our night and each other, never having to worry about timeline, thanks to Juan :)

Juan was absolutely awesome to work with. He was professional, kind and made my husband I feel at ease on our wedding day. All of our guests loved the music he played and thought he was super fun. We had a hard time with communication due to my email for some reason, and changes through out the process and Juan was very patient, and worked with us and was always very understanding. We will only use Juan for any of our future DJ services. Thank you Juan for everything you did for Scott and I, you went up and beyond being our DJ and we were absolutely thrilled with the service we got.

We hired AZ Celebrity DJ for our wedding on April 14, 2018 and Joe was amazing. He helped keep everything in order and on time. I was a little stressed with filling out the timeline and choosing all the different songs for each part of the wedding but after our first meeting I felt a lot of that stress go away. He helped with the timeline as well as gave as many suggestions for songs as I needed. My friend and I decided to create a mix for my daddy/daughter dance the morning of my wedding that I was going to surprise my dad with... I emailed the song to him that morning and he was more than willing to have it ready for that afternoon and my dad was totally surprised and it ended up being the best daddy/daughter dance ever! Thank you Joe for your input and keeping my wedding on schedule! I will definitely be recommending them to anyone I know getting married!

Juan with AZ Celebrity DJ was awesome! He not only kept the party going and interacted with our guests but he went out of his way to make sure my husband and I were taken care of as well. Their photo booth was clean and we had a nice book to take home with us at the end of the night. I would highly recommend using Juan/AZ celebrity for your next event.

AZ Celebrity DJ did a fantastic job at our wedding. Joe was our DJ and he made the night a lot of fun for our guests and kept the events of the evening flowing seamlessly throughout the night. We absolutely loved Joe. He made our wedding a wonderful experience. He met us and made us feel comfortable with the music selection and boy does he have a musox selection.

We had used AZ Celebrity DJ for our daughters wedding April 2016. When the planning began for our granddaughter's Nov 4 2017 wedding, there was no other that was considered. Joe met with us early on in the planning process and guided us the whole way through. His passion for what he does is obvious. His patience, ideas and direction was the best ever and so appreciated. His timing throughout the ceremony and reception was spot on! Without Joe, I'm afraid we could not have got all in that we did. All the guests enjoyed the music and kept them on their feet until the very last song. The special requests that he made sure happen, has made lifetime memories. Thank you Joe for all that you did for our family and for making our granddaughter and her new husband's night memorable and very special.

AZ Celebrity DJ was part of our wedding package. We were emailed right away with our music portal which we could fill out at any time. About a month before the wedding we sat down with the DJ Juan to go over everything. If you are prepared then it’s a quick meeting (hour tops). We felt great about them being part of the package after this meeting. It seemed like he understood what we wanted even though we didn’t give a lot of direction. The day of the wedding the music was GREAT! All of our guests complimented us and were up dancing the whole night. Would definitely book them again!

Look no further, you must book AZ Celebrity DJ for your wedding....Best DJ ever! Our guests raved about the music for the ceremony AND reception, and the uplighting was gorgeous. Juan was an AMAZING DJ and was so dedicated to making sure we were taken care of and our wedding was perfect. EVERYONE loved the photo booth and we were so pleased with the photo book that they put together for us. We will have beautiful memories of how much fun all of our guests had every time we look at our book.

I have been to many weddings and have to say I have never experienced a better emcee than Joe. All of our guests had nothing but outstanding things to say about Joe. His preparation is evident in the flawless presentation and understanding of the flow of the ceremony. The best thing you will do is use AZ celebrity dj and let Joe take care of the reception!

We hired AZ Celebrity DJ for our wedding and honestly without Joe and AZ Celebrity DJ our wedding wouldn't of been the hit it was. Joe initially went over the whole timeline of our wedding in detail and made us feel comfortable and at ease. The night of the wedding he definitely did not disappoint, he was upbeat, on time with the schedule and played music that would get people up and dance. We would without a doubt recommend Joe and AZ Celebrity DJ to anyone who is looking for a professional, fun and extremely knowledgeable DJ.

WE LOVE JOE! Our wedding was on March 18, 2017 and from the first meeting with Joe we knew we found the right person! Our initial meeting Joe put our mind at ease and planned every last detail, I didn't worry one time about anything. On our wedding day Joe made sure everything ran smooth and was wonderful. My dad (Father of the Bride) said Joe kept him informed on everything that was coming up so he was prepared. If highly recommend Joe for any event, you won't be sorry. Joe had so many fun ideas, the anniversary dance and the newly wed game (which was hilarious). Thank you Joe and AZ celebrity DJ for everything, you made our day amazing! Juan was FANTASTIC! From start to finish he made the entire process so easy for us and was willing to work around whatever we needed. My husband and I have very hectic work schedules so meetings were difficult for us, but that didn't stop Juan from delivering top quality service. Shoutout to DJ Joe Matras!! He was our DJ for our wedding on November 12, 2016. He did such a wonderful job from our first meeting that was a couple months before the wedding to the last song played at the wedding. He spoke clearly and loud enough for everyone to hear and understand. He's very detailed and had the wedding running so smoothly and on time. If he wasn't there to keep us on schedule, it would of been chaotic! He's open to any ideas and even has some fun suggestions! I loved their online planning tool and song request. It made it so much easier to plan out a timeline for the day of. Thank you Joe for making our day the best day ever!! You're AWESOME!!

DJ Juan was the best DJ! We are so so glad we chose him out of the others that we interviewed. My husband and I clicked with him instantly. My husband is a music junkie so this was the most important part of our wedding- entertaining guests of course! When we explained to Juan the type of music we wanted he was so easy-going and promised us he would meet our expectations..and he did! We thank you so much for your service. Great packages for a great price! The uplighting that came with our packaged really brought out the decor and thankful we decided to add that to the reception. My husband and I were lucky enough to have Joe DJ for us on our big day. He was absolutely amazing. He has done almost 1,000 weddings now and really knows what he is doing. We got married in March of 2016 and could not have been more pleased with DJ Joe at AZ Celebrity DJ!

From the first time we spoke with him, we could tell that he knew what he was doing and every conversation thereafter only furthered that opinion. We had to plan our wedding from another state and he was extremely accommodating and made the planning process go over without a hitch. About a month before the wedding, we went over the wedding timeline from start to finish and he brought up many details that had never even crossed our minds. The hundreds of weddings under his belt provided amazing insight that a less experienced DJ might have missed.

On our actual wedding day he was there 2 hours early, set up and ready to go. There was an issue with our ceremony guitarist, but DJ Joe was ready to step in with music for the ceremony if we decided we didn’t want to wait any longer for the guitarist. Luckily, we didn’t have to do that, but I’m sure he would have done a great job stepping in had we needed it. During the reception, he played the role of MC like a true pro! He kept the wedding running smoothly and never failed to make the crowd chuckle. His music selection kept the dance floor full till the last song! All in all, DJ Joe was an asset to our wedding. He was easy to work with and truly GREAT at his job! I would recommend him to anyone!

DJ Joe is the best in the biz! At our meeting with Joe, there were multiple "high points" of the night where we still weren't sure what songs to play. Joe had so many examples on his laptop to get our minds thinking; it made the meeting both fun and productive! AZ Celebrity DJ has an online portal where you can add, edit, and change anything you want as far as songs or the timeline of your evening. Joe is so wonderful, he even started and stopped certain songs I wanted played down to the minute, as I had requested - ha! He "read" our crowd so well, he knew what they wanted to hear and when. We were very fortunate to contract with this company to provide DJ/MC services, and especially lucky to have Joey Matras be the representative at our son's wedding reception. Joey is very experienced and is very flexible in accommodating our schedule. His ability to mingle with the guests, shepherding the guests at dinner time so that buffet lines never got slow or overcrowded, considering that we had 150 guests. His selection of music was great addressing a great mix of current as well as classical oldies.

Juan was absolutely amazing! He did everything from ensuring the timeline was followed to putting uplights in the reception area! Awesome DJ and services! Joe was our DJ and he was so great! He made sure to go through every detail of the wedding day and how he would help and recommendations for songs. It was basically a run of show, and it was so helpful. Their online planning tool is so easy to use and you can communicate very easily with your DJ this way, plus via email. Joe was extremely responsive to our emails and he did a really great job of blending the various music styles we requested as we had a very Mexican side of the family, older family members, and younger guests as well. We had a blast on the dance floor and Joe did a great job of helping us stay on time throughout the night!

We were so luck to have Joe as our DJ for our wedding. From the beginning he was so kind, and fun to work with. I wanted him to be earlier than his normal contract stated and he made those changes without blinking his eye. My husband and I didn't have an idea for certain songs, and Joe was on point with his suggestions. He knows his music and was able to make suggestions based only on a few songs we wanted played during our reception. He was also great corralling our somewhat rowdy bridal party for the introductions. He was also very quick to respond to any email I sent him. AZ Celebrity DJ was one of the vendors available to pick from the package we received from our wedding venue. So glad we went with them. Juan was the DJ for our wedding and did an amazing job. We received so many positive comments from our friends and family about how great he was. Juan met with us a couple times to go over the timeline of the wedding/reception and provided some great suggestions for song choices. He made sure we stayed on point with the timeline and the dance floor was packed the entire night. This is the best DJ ever! Joe Matras was absolutely amazing. He answered every email and text in an extremely fast. He kept people on the dance floor all night! He made great suggestions at our meeting. He suggested an anniversary dance, which everyone loved! He also suggested some really fun reception games. DJ Joe was assigned to us as a package deal with our wedding venue. The reviews we read were good so we were hopeful. It's important to have a DJ that will engage the crowd and keep the party going. We were given an online planning tool to stay organized and on the same page. We then met with Joe before the wedding to verbally review the planned timeline and song choices. He made suggestions with songs we struggled coming up with. We did make some last minute changes and he was very flexible with accommodating those. When it came time for the big day, Joe was awesome. He was right on track with everything we planned, very professional but also grabbed the crowd's attention. He stayed in line with the music selections and genres we planned but also read the crowd and played what kept the guests dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

Juan and Stephanie were absolutely wonderful! From our first meeting through the last minute of the wedding, they were professional, fun, flexible and incredibly entertaining for our guests. We were so glad to have a DJ and Master of Ceremonies that was as experienced as Juan. His knack for understanding couples musical preferences and creating playlists that everyone can enjoy is one of Juan's best qualities as a DJ. Not only does he incorporate the bride and groom's favorite songs, he is talented at finding similar styles of music and effortlessly managing the transitions and flow of music. We hired AZ Celebrity DJ for our wedding on May 10. We were lucky enough to get Joe to DJ for us on our special day. I had very high expectations for the DJ since well, they are the ones who put on the show! Leading up to the wedding Joe would email us song recommendations if we were having difficulty chosing a song. We met with Joe on two different occassions and he was extremely helpful and professional. Joe gave us a rundown on how the wedding was going to flow, and he even provided (and had us approve) a wedding timeline so we knew exactly what to expect on our big day! Throughout the evening, Joe would let us know what to expect next and he would remind us of the timeline throughout the evening so there were no surprises and we were able to stay on schedule. He played GREAT music and really made our guests want to get up and dance! There was a good mix of age groups at our wedding and Joe did a fantastic job at being able to decide when it was time to switch up the tunes to get more people out on the dance floor. He knew how to get everyone on the dance floor in subtle but fun ways. I literally can't say enough about this man. He made our wedding the awesome party that it was. DJ Joe was so personable and warm; he was truly a pleasure to work with. He helped us get organized, put together the timeline for our wedding, and stay on schedule. He was very responsive to our questions and kept in contact with us without being intrusive both before and during the wedding. He did both our ceremony music and reception music for us. We had several older guests who were critical of the volume of the music and he interacted with them professionally (by the way, the music was not overly loud and there were areas at the reception which people who wanted to talk could go to have conversations so their criticisms were not valid—I hope my mother-in-law doesn’t read this review since she was one of them). My husband’s family members are not really dancing people, but DJ Joe was successful in playing a mix of music which encouraged people to dance. One my husband’s aunts told me today she danced more last night at our reception then she has at any other time which I think is a good reflection of DJ Joe’s skills. Joe’s extensive experience as a wedding DJ was obvious in the way he handled our meetings with him and the wedding events. He was very flexible, we made some one the fly changes during the reception and Joe just rolled with it. We really enjoyed our meetings with him and his humor kept us engaged in the process. I can’t imagine having any other DJ than Joe, he did such a fabulous job for us.

Joe was our Master of Ceremonies for wedding reception on 2-14-14. He really enjoys what he does and it shines through in his devotion to detail.
We spent 3 hours planning event details prior to weeding. This was a fun experience and helpful. Joe goes over the entire event. Making sure every minute is accounted for.
At our reception was perfect. Joe took charge of guests, but not to aggresive and not lacked. He made sure our timeline was followed and made minor adjustments as necessary!

Overall, Joe is excellent, total 5 stars!!

Joe was fantastic from the planning to execution. When we started the planning process I lived in AZ, but was moving to another state before the planning was over. He did a great job of preparing us for how we would be able to plan the big night. He was excellent at communication through phone, email, and very timely. Loved the software that was used to be able to pick the songs we wanted to have played and to see how the timeline would turn out. During the reception he was on top of the timeline and made sure the key people for whatever activity was coming up were ready and aware of what was going on. Many members of my family came up to me after and complimented what a great DJ Joe was and how he kept the whole night moving, played the right music, and played songs they requested. He made the night run perfectly. Thank you again! Oh and not only was it our wedding night, but it was his birthday and he chose to celebrate with us.

Joe was FANTASTIC! He really carried the party all night and played all the right music! He was very thorough in pre-meetings, and I know that he only had one agenda, and that was to provide us with EXACTLY what we wanted for the night of the wedding. During the reception, he was very attentive and would let us know in advance what was next; food, toasts, cake cutting, newlywed game etc. He really did a fantastic job and the price of AZ Celebrity DJ is very reasonable! We really enjoyed working with Juan with Az celebrity dj. He was very personable, kind and professional. He was easy to work with and wasn't a cheesy wedding mc, he was fun and energetic. Our guests enjoyed the music he played and he kept the flow of the reception steady so my husband and I didn't feel rushed through our wedding. We really enjoyed the dj services provided and will definitely recommend this company in the future!

Joe was absolutely fantastic. From first meeting to the day of, Joe was in continual contact with us. He did an excellent job of not only setting up a pre planned outline for our wedding, but also making last minute changes at the venue on the fly. Joe was very professional and did an amazing job as the Master of Ceremonies. He also did a great job of playing all the right music at the right time and most importantly, got people on the dance floor. I can't thank Joe enough. One of the top three best vendor choices we made for our wedding was to choose AZ Celebrity DJ Joe Matras. He was a true master of ceremonies, played the exact mix of music that we chose, conducted a detailed pre-event details meeting with us, handled all details during our reception, down to dismissing tables to the buffet line, analyzing our music choices, fading out too long of a song, lining the bridal party up for introductions, and making sure we knew the options for our special dances, making suggestions when we asked, based on his over 30 years' experience in the industry. A true professional all the way around. Our wedding would not have run as smoothly and been so seamless to us, the bride and groom, without such top notch quality and professionalism. Juan was a terrific DJ for our wedding reception! We had a specific playlist and he played all of the really important songs. For a couple of metalheads, I was a little worried that he wouldn't be able to play some of the lesser known tracks from Moonspell, Arch Enemy, etc., but he got it done no problem.
He was also a phenomenal M.C. and made sure we ran on schedule or ahead of schedule. He brought his own DJ booth, lighting, and equipment, and I can't say enough about our satisfaction with Juan and AZ Celebrity DJ. The crowd loved the newlywed game!
If you want your event to be put on by a professional, get Juan to do it. He knows what he's doing and will adjust to fit your needs. He really made it all about us. Thank you Juan, you made our wedding reception FUN, which is exactly what we wanted. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I absolutely loved having Joe be the DJ at our wedding. My husband and I were extremely unprepared, but Joe knew exactly what to do. We put complete faith in him to arrange the songs for our wedding, and he did a fantastic job! He knows unique techniques to making a wedding fun and different for all guests. I had numerous guests tell me that our wedding was the most fun wedding that they had ever been to. I would recommend AZ Celebrity DJ's to EVERYONE!!!

DJ Joey from AZ Celebrity DJ was a real asset to our wedding. His ability to read the crowd and adjust the music as necessary was impressive. We had a wide range of ages at the wedding, from toddlers to 90 year olds. Everyone loved the music. DJ Joey was also great at time-management. The various events throughout the night were perfectly timed, but there was also a natural flow to the night. I would highly recommend him to another couple.

Joe was everything we could have asked for in a DJ! He was borderline TOO thorough at our 3 hour long planning meeting but it was all for the best. We didn't have any questions whatsoever that our music would be EXACTLY what we wanted! Personable, extremely organized, has tons of experience and takes his job seriously! I first saw AZ Celebrity DJ when they worked at a friend's wedding May 2012. I usually would not notice the DJ except they did some new things at her wedding that I hadn't seen before. They used trivia about the couple to excuse people for the buffet line and they also played the newlywed game which was very funny. They really got the guests involved. When I got engaged six months later I made sure to get their information! I worked with Joe, he was great! He is very knowledgeable about his work and was able to give me a lot of tips and choices for my reception timeline and music. The whole system that AZ Celebrity DJ uses makes the process very easy, they don't miss anything. I am originally from AZ but I now live out-of-state and I had no problems planning with Joe from a distance. The reception went off without a hitch and the night was a success with the help of Joe!

AZ Celebrity DJ was our DJ on our wedding April 20th. Juan Sandoval and his wife Stephanie were amazing to work with! I did most of my contact with Stephanie via email because I was out of the state. Any questions, concerns or changes, I would email her and she would take it care of it. Juan went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were taken care of all night. Not only did he entertain our guests, played great music but made sure we had everything we needed. He was professional, timely, and reliable; we couldn’t ask for more. I would definitely recommend and work with AZ Celebrity DJ again.

Juan was great to work with. He met with us to get to know us and to see what we liked. All his suggestions were great. He was organized and friendly, and during the reception he always asked my new husband and I if we needed anything. He had everyone out on the dance floor including some family members who don't dance. We were very happy with Juan.
