Describe your DJ style:
Our style is fun, professional and prepared. Our Boase sound system looks stylish and sophisticated. We enjoy all types of music and play appropriate music for each event. We listen to what you say you want to hear. We don't play games or use gimmicks or props. We like to let the music set the mood for the evening, so we don't do a lot of talking about it!
What is your usual attire?
Suit and Tie, Tux or theme attire as requested.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No. With enough notice we can provide most anything.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have two 2-person teams. Male DJ and Female Emcee.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
4 Hours
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes, we encourage brides to meet with us as often as they wish.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. Full system plus backup at every event.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have lighting available if it will add to the atmosphere of the party, but we don't offer specialty lighting equipment.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We set up in one hour or less. We require a 6 ft. table, and a covered area if outdoors.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
No.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We can customize the announcements and time on the mic to your requirements. We can MC your reception with professional introductions and announcements. In general, we do not talk between songs.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We appreciate a meal if one is offered, but we do not require one.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we belong to a local network.
What is your overtime rate?
A per hour fee.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
No.
