After speaking with a few different DJs, both my husband and I felt DJ Joey D would be the best fit for us. During that initial conversation, we could tell he had the perfect attitude with just the right amount of energy coupled with the utmost professionalism, courtesy, and extraordinary customer service. In addition to his personality and packages, one of the reasons we decided to hire Joe was because we loved the idea of having a portal where we could easily enter all of our wedding song requests for different segments of the event and keep track of timing. This made it really easy to make sure we had appropriate music selected throughout the night and to include the music we wanted most. Little did we know that Joe would turn into the best hire for our day. He made sure to check in with us before our date to ensure the details of the timeline and order of events were correct. He was very accommodating with a few last minute changes and unknown variables. He also checked in with both the bride and the groom the morning of to make sure everything was according to plan and if they was anything we needed. Throughout the day Joe was there to help our event run smoothly. After pictures, my husband and I were stranded on a long walk from the reception site. Joe found a golf cart and personally came to the rescue to pick us up. This level of service continued throughout the night as he checked in with both my husband and I frequently to make sure everything was working for us and to make sure we were on the same page. Joe also responded quickly and took swift action when we had a little medical emergency. He helped expedite the situation while still attending to us and our guests. He was so sweet to our flower girl and made sure to play all her requests. Joe also took requests from our other guests which made everyone very happy. I thought he created a great play list and transitioned perfectly from one song to the next. Again, Joe provided excellent service leading up to and throughout our wedding ceremony and reception, and he was perfect for our wedding!

Great DJ for any occasion but especially for weddings! Would highly recommend DJ Joey D!

I cannot say enough good things about Joe! For starters, he is extremely prompt and answered me right away from our first interaction. During COVID, we had to reschedule our wedding and he was very flexible about the date change. The week leading up to the wedding, Joe checked in with me multiple times to make sure everything was going smoothly. On the wedding day, everything was custom to our wants and executed seamlessly! All around, Joe is such a great guy and really felt like family on our big day. I would recommend Joe to all of my family and friends!

researching DJ's was way out of my comfort zone as I really didn't know where to start, however when reaching out to DJ Joey D, the first thing I noticed was how responsive he was. When I emailed, he emailed back, if I texted, he would text me back. Joey D would schedule calls to go over new information etc. I loved the fact that I knew we were on the same page the whole time.

Covid postponed our wedding and Joey D was flawless with sympathizing and letting us know that he would adjust to the new date without additional fees which was so appreicated.

Every request we had was done, the songs we wanted played were played, the songs Joey D picked during our reception kept the dancing and party going until the end.

I found Joe on wedding wire. We certainly scored because all night our wedding guests were saying how great he was. He provided a photo booth, monogram lighting with our names, up lighting around our venue, timeline for our event planner, and was even willing to take an hour off from playing because we had a family members band play. Joe is so organized, professional, efficient, and most importantly knows how to get the party started.
He also has a portal where you get to pick and choose the music you want whether it is for dedications, special moments, a must play list, and do not play list. I am so glad I found him, he certainly made the night more fun, and activated the party!

My husband and I looked into and spoke with several DJs before we decided on hiring DJ Joey D. We are so happy with our choice! Joe was very easy to work with and had a great portal online to assist with music selections in advance. He was always responsive to emails and calls.
I have found with so many outdoor weddings that you can barely hear the ceremony and/or music and I was so impressed with Joe's sound system for our outdoor (and far from electrical outlets!) ceremony! The mic and speaker system were top quality and picked up everything so all our guests could hear. Dancing was very important to me and I am not kidding when I say Joe had guests up dancing all night! My husband is very musically inclined and even felt like Joe built up the music throughout the evening to a peak right before the reception was over. We had guests telling us how awesome of a job he did for days and that some of them even had a great conversation with him. 100% recommend hiring Joe for your big day!!

DJ Joey D was 100% the right choice for our wedding. He is a professional from the first call when I asked a million dumb questions through the night when he checked sound around the reception area and made sure that our ceremony mics were perfectly place.
