How would you identify your photographic style? I offer a blend of photojournalistic, fashion and un-traditional family portraits. (think Vanity Fair)

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? Selected photos are altered to black and white or sepia, depending on the subject matter.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I am familiar with all lighting situations and come prepared to photograph in any conditions.

Is your media preference film or digital? I am 100% digital which allows my turnaround time to be 1-2 weeks, not 1-2 months.

How many photographers do you work with? I am the primary photographer on all weddings. A second photographer is included in all packages to capture additional coverage.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Like I mentioned above, I am the primary photographer on all weddings.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend? I only cover one wedding a day.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day? I have a network of photographers that I can contact in case of emergency. However, with two photographers always at every event, if one of us becomes ill, there is still another for "backup"

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Digital cameras, flash equipment, props and sometimes a ladder depending on the event.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Yes, we always have 4-5 cameras at every event.

Do you charge hourly or full day? Rates begin at 6 hours and are charged hourly beyond that.

If hourly, are you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you charge for overtime? $300/hour which includes both photographers to stay one additional hour.

Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal? Yes, its a long day! But we eat in shifts and very quickly.

How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day? Does driving from one location to the next count?

Do you charge for travel? Anything beyond 60 miles of Napa CA

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 1-2 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered? Online proofing.

How long can the couple keep the proofs? Yes

Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple? Files are available after one year.

Will images be available for viewing on an online gallery? Yes

When will I get the final book? 4-8 weeks after you finalize your order.

How long does it take to deliver a book? 4-8 weeks after you finalize your order.

Does your photographer's package include an album? An album is the lasting impression of your wedding and will become a family heirloom, cutting out an album is like cutting out a part of family history.

Do you click with your photographer and get a good feeling from them? A photographer is the only vendor you will spend all day with. If you arent comfortable in easy conversation think about your wedding day. Also, your photographer is the only vendor you deal with after the wedding.

Are your photos edited and color corrected? We edit out all of the blinks, blurs and funny faces so you dont have to. Afterwards we color correct every image to make sure you look great in your photos.

Make sure all costs are seen upfront. All of our prices are listed out in our contract so everyone is on the same page. The last thing you want is a surprise bill!
