Fabulous band!

We booked Gary Rich and The Blue Daddy’s Wedding Band for our wedding, September 20, 2025. They played for both our ceremony and reception and they were absolutely amazing!!!! All of our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the wedding because of the fabulous band! They were great to work with, very friendly and professional! I definitely recommend them!!!

Unreserved Highest Recommendation!

If we could give 10 stars we would! Gary Rich and his band were so much fun, so easy to work with, all the members are so talented! 2 members played the ceremony and cocktail hour and set the perfect tone for our outdoor evening wedding. During the reception, the dance floor was full all night, with dancers from 6 to 78! Gary was wonderful from the start, professional and easy to work with. He is not only personable, but his focus was on how to create what we wanted at our wedding! Mission accomplished!! We had so much fun, everyone commented on how awesome the band was, and how versatile they were. We could not have asked for more! We give them our unreserved highest recommendation!

Exceptional in all areas!

From professionalism to their talent, The Gary Rich and his band were exceptional in all areas! Gary was extremely quick to respond to any and all questions, making us feel completely trustful and at ease. From the violin and guitar duo at the ceremony and cocktails, to playing our requested songs at the reception with the band and DJ, They were on point with all of it! We would 100% recommend them! They were very professional!

We had Gary Rich from About Music Pro provide all our music for our wedding in June of this year. What a great bunch of musicians he had for our guests and us!.
Many of our guests commented that the band was very impressive. The musicians accommodated our specific needs, adjusted to the atmosphere and got everyone on the dance floor.
As an amateur musician, I appreciated the talent. We had the Jazz Duo for the Ceremony & The Blue Daddy’s and a
DJ/MC for the reception.
Gary called us days before the event to make sure everything was on schedule and planned properly, which I appreciated. They were very professional.

Made our wedding

Gary Rich and his band performed at our wedding for a group ranging in age from 10 to 80. Everyone had a great time, especially the 20-30 something’s. Gary had his duo for the ceremony and cocktails outside, then his 5 piece band for the reception inside. They played nearly non-stop for over 3 hours with only one short break, so we felt that we got great value and were well entertained.

Gary and the Blue Daddy's were incredible. They learned a couple songs for us, including one for our (very literal) first dance- and nailed them. They were incredibly professional, extremely talented, and we would both recommend them to anyone. My grandparents loved them, our parents loved them, our friends loved them- my boss loved them (thanks guys!). They made our wedding, and we can't thank them enough.

Best Music Ever!!

Talk about the best music ever!! Our wedding was on 5/3/25 in san Diego and Gary was our Musician / band leader and DJ/MC. From the first inquiry to the end of the wedding night, Gary and his crew were great and super professional and so kind. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception introductions, to dinner classics, to first dances, to partying until the end of the night... WOW they killed it! Everything was so smooth and we received so many compliments after the wedding. The dance floor was packed the entire night. We highly recommend Gary and his band, they were great at what they do, and very engaged with our guests and keeping the party going. Thank you again, Gary!!

Wedding went perfectly!

Gary was amazing. He Played ukulele for the ceremony, jazz guitar for the cocktail hour, and had his trio and DJ for the reception. He read the room perfectly and had impeccable timing. He played the perfect mix of classics, and our requested songs and played them at the perfect time. He was also super professional and MC'd the event without a hitch. Our wedding went perfectly thanks to Gary from About Music.

Incredible!!!

We got married in march of this year and Gary from About Music Pro provided our wedding music. Him and his band were INCREDIBLE!!. Not only did they keep the dance floor going all night long - they did a fantastic job of arranging the music and Gary made all the announcements during the reception. He was very communicative when we reached out in the beginning and the weeks leading up to the wedding. He was very prepared and everything couldn't have gone more seamlessly! GARY and all the members of his band WERE incredible!

Gary and team were amazing

Gary and his team were amazing! I wanted a DJ/MC and musicians who could keep the party going and read the room without me having to pick every song I wanted. Gary delivered that and so much more! We had a string quartet at the ceremony and a jazz trio at the cocktail hour. He was so communicative leading up to our wedding and was so helpful the day of. He made sure we knew what was going on, and made sure we liked the vibes of the music. He let my husband and I request songs if we wanted to but I didn't even need to because I feel like he knew exactly what to play and our guests had the best time! The Band was awesome, and he would seamlessly go on to being a DJ on band breaks. We are so appreciative to Gary and his team for making our wedding what it was Incredible!

Recommend to everyone!

Gary from About Music was a pleasure to work with and he did a phenomenal job working at our wedding. Gary’s energy and passion are infectious and we knew we wanted to work with him during our very first phone call. Gary really helped us and supported us with our wedding vision. He was always available to answer questions. During the wedding, he kept our guests dancing and he seamlessly transitioned and blended different genres of music. Gary also played Ukulele at our ceremony and Piano for our cocktail hour. Which our guests loved and complemented us on how great he was. Gary is the best and we would recommend him to everyone!
