We rented hanboks for myself, the groom, and several family members. The rental process was easy, and they were very communicative. It was fun to go to their shop and try on the different combinations, and it was very easy for family members to get their measurements done who were far away. The pick-up and return process was seamless, and being able to wear hanbok was so memorable for me and my family. This is such a special shop, and I couldn't recommend them enough!

It was such a wonderful celebration of culture and family, and Jessica and Sarah did an incredible job helping us navigate the ceremony and making it fun and exciting for our 50+ guests, who were a mix of Koreans and non-Koreans.

We rented my mom's hanbok from BDK Mint and also worked with them for our paebaek. My mom's hanbok was absolutely stunning - it matched our wedding theme and fit my mom beautifully. They also shipped the hanbok a few days in advance of the wedding to ensure it got in on time and made the return easy for us. The paebaek was one of the most memorable parts of our wedding day - it was so meaningful for my family to incorporate such a special Korean tradition to our wedding and the guests absolutely loved it. Jessica's ability to bring the crowd together made it that much more fun!! We loved working with them and would highly recommend for people looking to rent/buy hanboks and/or have a paebaek ceremony.

I had the pleasure of working with Jessica as a vendor for a Paebaek ceremony for a wedding that I DJ'd; she was the loveliest person to work with! She was professional, communicative, friendly, and created a beautiful ambiance for the Paebaek ceremony. We had the honor of working with BDK Mint for our wedding this past Friday (9/20/24).
Not only did they provide gorgeous rental hanboks for my grandmothers, they helped us pull off the full Paebaek ceremony in a very tight schedule and VERY last minute--these superstars got all our info/details, reached out to the venue and coordinated with the DJ and had it all ready to go in a 2 week timeline! (original plan to borrow the Paebaek hanboks fell through).

Jessica and Sylvia were our MC and attendants and they were not only super personable and helpful but also very charismatic, flexible and generous with their time.
From setup of the set, prepping us (even provided multiple hanbok options) and through the ceremony itself, they took authority over the process to make my husband and I feel comfortable and prepared for what was to come.  They made all necessary announcements to the party and even went so far as to assess the setup of our venue and strategize the most effective way to make an impactful impression to garner attention and interest to attend an otherwise optional event--so much so, that our ENTIRE wedding party ended up coming in to watch, leaving the venue staff to think our cocktail hour had ended (which it hadn't)

Jessica did a fantastic job MCing the event, we had a multi-cultural crowd and she described everything so clearly and beautifully--even though I myself am Korean, I learned a lot!
As a bonus, the energy of the Paebaek really primed our guests and got them in the right vibe for the rest of the night!
Most of our non-Korean guests came up to say that watching the Paebaek was one of the coolest things they've ever witnessed and left loving and respecting the Korean tradition more than than they did beforehand (or at the very least learned about it).

Sylvia was equally amazing through the entire process and especially at preparing my husband and I with what queues she'd provide us and any last minute instructions/tips before heading out.  

Both were so helpful, kind and fun to be around that even in the hustle and bustle of things, we felt completely taken care of by them and at ease! They even made sure that we were always photo-ready and patiently waited for us to take additional photos after the ceremony ended, never once making us feel rushed.

If you are considering including the Paebaek service in your wedding, we say, you absolutely should and it HAS to be with BDKMint.  Beautiful Hanboks, Beautiful Ceremony, Beautiful Service overall, it was well worth it and we'll have this memory for ever.

My husband and I wanted to incorporate both of our cultures into our wedding celebrations, so we hired BDK Mint to organize our paebaek. Even though we were based in San Francisco, the process with Jessica, who we worked with from BDK, was smooth and stress-free. She explained the ceremony to us, gave us tips on how many family members to include, and gave us all the information we needed to feel confident that our ceremony would go without a hitch on the day.

For the ceremony, she and her helper brought a couple options for the ceremony outfits for me, helped dress us both, and guided us throughout the whole process. She was also a great emcee and really engaged the crowd. It was a hit with our guests! Thank you very much for an amazing celebration!
