Sandy's Story
Sandy Brantley's path to photography has been somewhat unconventional, so we thought you might want to know more about how she started.
Sandy graduated from Stetson University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. She married the love of her life only a month after graduation and is still happy to be Mrs. Sean Brantley. They have 2 children, Doug and Sami. Sandy was VP of Enterprise Systems Management when she decided climbing the corporate ladder in a fortune 50 company was competing with her most important job of raising and caring for her two young children. She left to stay home with her children while they were still young. She found herself with time to hone talents she had always enjoyed, but never had the time to persue. Sandy has done many interesting things along the way. She wrote a book, founded and sold a scrapbooking education manufacturing company, and even worked on Home Shopping Network (HSN) as an on-air guest host. As a favor to a friend, she started shooting weddings as a second shooter. That was it...she was hooked. The rest is history. We are happy that she ventured out on her own and started Sandy Brantley Photography. Her passion for the craft continually drives her to find the latest and greatest in technology and in the art that is photography. We think it shows.

Our entire experience with Sandy has been awesome from the beginning. Her and her hubby are not only great people but great photographers. They are well organized and very prefessional. When it comes down to it a bride only has so much time and so many things to do. Sandy knows this and is great at keeping you on schedule and helping in so many ways. Our photos turned out BEAUTIFUL and were exactly what I was envisioning- because Sandy saw to that. I am so glad we were blessed with such a great team for our special day and will definitely want to use them again in the future.

Sandy is AMAZING!! If you are looking for someone who is a joy to be around, has an amazing eye for catching the different shot, and is open to any suggestions for photos you might want, Sandy is your gal. She was with me ALL DAY on the day of the wedding, and we had an amazing time! My day was a lot less stressful because of Sandy. I didn't have to worry about a thing, and any time I was uncomfortable or nervous all I had to do was look at her and she would flash me a smile or tell me how great I looked or that everything was going so smoothly! We wanted someone with a fresh, unique eye and not a posed and stiff style, and we got EXACTLY what we wanted! We will be using Sandy for our family photographic needs we will have in the future! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The first compliment we want to give Sandy – she is flexible! We scheduled Sandy for a graduation photo shoot, but when she arrived at our house she found out that she was photographing our wedding that day instead (we kept the fact we were getting married a secret from everyone). She changed gears on a dime and took many wonderful photographs of the day’s events at 3 different locations. Sandy helped make our wedding day so much fun as she was our only witness and our only guest. She had many creative ideas to animate the Photos and was so open to any of our wishes. Our wedding video was ready in a short time for a celebration gathering which was really nice since many of our family and friends were feeling kind of left out. The beautiful and thoughtful video brings the day back to life and many to tears when they watch it. Most important – she made the bride look beautiful and 10 years younger – thank you Sandy! Obviously, Sandy loves what she does and it shines through her wonderful memorable creativity. We love her.

Sandy took her time and made our day extra special. After the wedding we got into a car accident and where unable to travel to the studio to select our pictures. Sean and Sandy came all the way to Deland and sat with us for over 3 hour while we selected our photos. They never rushed us and made sure they got every detail correct. When the photos came in, Sean drove back to our home again to deliver the completed wedding album and photos. Everything was wrapped in beautiful paper and we felt like it was Christmas. As a mother I was really drawn to Sandy. She just seemed to love being a photographer. Every time Amanda or I picked up the phone and called she was there and seemed as excited as we did about Amanda's big day. Like a fairytale, every moment was captured. After the wedding they where just as responsive. Sandy created a customer Wedding Album that still brings tears to m eyes. They become more then just a photographer to us, they are now part of our family.

Sandy is an absolute dream to work with. I can't say enough wonderful things about her art. The images she captured were flawless, amazing, and told the story of our very special day. As the mother of the groom I appreciated how she took the time to work with me and my son to capture that very special moment before the service. It is a picture I will cherish forever.
I will warn you that Sandy wasnt' the least expensive wedding photographer interviewed - but, especially in fine art photography - you will get what you pay for.

WOW! That's all I can say about Sean and Sandy. Whenever I called, they where there. The picture they took are not just pictures to me. They are the memories in living color of the best night of my life. Sandy made every moment fun and exciting. My husband Christian is in the Navy and our schedule where tight. Sandy made sure she was available on our time frame. She's not just a photographer but has become a close friend. You can search high and low and never find two people that will do more for there clients. Thank you Sean and Sandy!

If you choose Sandy Brantley Photography- I promise you that you wont be dissappointed. Sandy and Sean are some of the nicest/easiest people to work and get along with. The quality of work that they produce is phenomenal- Sandy truly has a gift with her photography. A major factor that played a role for me when picking a photographer was their past work and whether or not the pictures looked "posey." I looked at her pics online and the ones in her studio and was completely blown away and loved what I saw. When you get your pictures back- it will tell a beautiful story of your entire day.
Sandy and Sean always returned phone calls and emails promtly and answered all of my questions. They were very flexible with working with us because at the time my husband was in a completely different city than I was and was willing to kinda work around our schedule to make things easy.
We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE our pictures- there are still family, friends, as well as my husband and I ooooing and aahhhhing over the pictures!!!!
So hopefully sometime soon-we will have our baby's pictures done with them as well!
