Ok Girls, When picking your date, did you consider your cycle? I did not. I am such a irregular person that even if I would of tried to pick a date around it, it probably would not of worked out. My cousin for her wedding played around with her birth control so that she made sure that she was not on her period for the wedding and honeymoon. Is anybody else considering doing this, or doing something else?

I didn't even consider checking. But to my luck the day AFTER our wedding, Aunt Flow will grace me with her annoying presence.

Talk to your doctor before you skip the placebo/period week of your BC. It's not a surefire fix for everyone. I did that before I studied abroad (under dr.'s orders even) and ended up having my period for 3 months. Good times. Smiley smile

(I have issues. So I'm an extreme example. But - I wouldn't try it the first time for your wedding. I'd do a trial run a few months in advance.)

For my wedding, yes. But the weekend I was sure that FH was going to propose I was supposed to be on my period. Not cool. I am on the nuvaring and simply took it out and put in a new one. I skipped that month. yay! It worked! Smiley smile

I got on a birthcontrol that doesnt have "sugar pills" so its a 21 day pack and you take it continuously so you dont have a period. then you just go off every 3 months for only a week. You can always opt for that Smiley smile

A little late to this thread, but has anyone who takes birth control that is a different color/amount of hormones every week skipped the placebo and had it work? I was under the impression that you could only do that on the type of birth control pills that are the same amount of hormones for every day of the three weeks of active pills... Help - supposed to start the day of the wedding Smiley sad
