Vegas, it was last minute, close by, and had availability. We saw KA, and the art museum in the bellagio- that was fun. We swam a lot, too, in the pools 😊 We both swore that was our last trip ever to Vegas since we don't smoke drink or gamble.

Our first trip was about 6 weeks after we met. We went up to Vermont for 4 days. The memorable parts of the trip include me taking an online statistics test 4 hours before it was due, me getting drunk the night we checked in, buying our first Vermont Teddy Bear and discoving Sugarbush Farms cheddar cheese! On the first trip we decided we want to live in Vermont.

We had such a good time we up again in August, October and there have been noises made about going in the next month or so. Smiley smile

Our first big trip that was only us without a group of friends was to DC! I’m from outside of Richmond, VA and we were long distance at the time, so he came to visit and we took the train up and stayed a night. He had never been so we were able to do all the fun touristy things and visit a lot of museums. Despite getting sick in the middle of the night due to a food allergy, it was an amazing trip!!

After about 3 years together we went to Cancun as our first trip together celebrating FH getting out of the Marines. He had never gone on a plane (for leisure, only mandated by the Marines) and never been on a vacation like that where as I had. We learned a lot of history, drank a lot of free alcohol, and soaked up a lot of sun Smiley smile

Last August for our 1 year anniversary of dating we went to Kemah, Texas. We stayed at a nice hotel on the boardwalk, although the weather got bad towards the end of the trip, it was so much fun!

Our first out of town trip was to a town about 2 hrs South, Tucson, we saw one of his favorire bands, and he told me he loved me. It was about 2 months into our dating. Our 1st trip trip was to Chicago a month later... And then many more followed! Can't wait to marry this man!.

Our first trip was a road trip to Buffalo, NY for a hockey game for his birthday. 5 hours one way. It was snowing on the way. We went to the game and then drove back home that night after the game. We had so much fun just talking and laughing in the car. We spent almost 3 hrs of the ride home looking for a fast food restaurant that was open. It was after midnight. We were so hungry. We still laugh about that.

Our first ever trip as a couple was to the Grand Canyon about two months into our relationship. We went to college about an hour or so away and decided to take a weekend trip and do some hiking. It was nice to go somewhere pretty sparsely populated and just enjoy being together and getting to know each other better.

We spontaneously got in the car one Friday and ended up driving to DC. We were only there until Sunday, but the spontaneous aspect made it so much fun. And we had so much fun road tripping together. We went back to DC about a year later to actually really experience the city.

We didn’t go on a vacation alone until after six years. We’re only 23 and 24 so I think that’s okay. Lol. We went to Universal Studios in Orlando, FL. Stayed at an on-site resort for four days. It’s not an extravagant vacation but it’s our favorite place ever. Even more than when we went to London with his parents in 2016.

We had been together a month and he traveled 7 hour in the middle of the night for me. We went to Chattanooga TN. I knew he loved me then even though he hadn't said it yet. We stopped in Gatlinburg on the way back and it was magical!

Hahha this one is a memory I will never forget.
e planned to go to a music festival and ski trip over New Years in California. We live in Pennsylvania. When we got to the airport at 4 am we found out our flight was cancelled and they couldn’t get us a new one for five day. Five days!!! At that point it wouldn’t be worth even going.

We rented a car by 6 am and decided to drive 36 hours straight from Pa to Ca! It was an experience. We only stopped for fast food, gas, and to take random pictures in those blow up T. rex suits. We also recorded us singing songs and posted hourly logs on Facebook.

Eventually we made it and had an awesome time with our friends (who are all in our bridal party). The last day my FH lost both of our IDs. In order to fly home without an id they searched every inch of our luggage and called Washington DC to question us and verify our identity.

We took this trip after dating only two months. We joked that if we’d could spend 36 hours in a car together we were meant to be.

First real, international trip as a couple we got engaged! We had had quick, overnight trips all within driving distance before. But, I had spent a year abroad when we first started dating (it had been previously planned.) He was hit with a few emergencies in that year and couldn’t come visit me, so we finally planned a trip together. We spent the week in Banff National Park and got engaged on top of a mountain on the first day!! It gave us a full week to enjoy our engagement without all of the bombardment of questions. We hiked every day, and came back to our hotel with a fireplace in our room and a view of the 3 sisters peaks in Canmore, AB. It was an amazing trip together!!

FH and I were long distance for 4.5 out of the 8 years and some change that we have been together. For those 4 years one of us would travel across state lines to visit for a weekend or a week if we were lucky about once every other month.

Our first trip together was about 2 years in when my best friend put together a trip in Deep Creek. There were 10 of us and we got snowed in on day 2. Several ridiculous things happened that we still talk about today. But it was so fun we rented a more secluded house the next year.

During our road trip to Deep Creek, we both discovered our talents for being able to sing entire Nsync and Backstreet boy albums (albums from our childhood) and we sang all the way there. Some may call it the ultimate boy band cheese fest. I call it love. Lol

We went to a wedding! We've been together about 2 years and had only been dating 6 months or so, but it was really clear to us that we were a good match.
The FH doesn't drive so I drove us about 4 of the most beautiful hours imaginable. It was just the most fun drive up! We talked about what we would do if we won the lottery and listened to blue grass.
When we got there the FH hustled us through the hotel and got us to the venue. It turns out he'd misplaced thr invite and forgotten the start time, so we were 2 hours early. It was a gorgeous spot so we wandered around and a young couple told us they'd just gotten engaged. Like, just. We were the first people they told.
The wedding was incredible! Beautiful! We had the best time. We got ridiculously lost trying to get back to our hotel. I may have cried.

We were dating for about 8 months and drove from Colorado to Kentucky to see my parents. We took the southern route there and the northern route back. It was amazing and fun. We had no idea where we were going to end up each night. Everyday was an adventure and we got to see random things in a bunch of different states.
