My stepson, who is getting married next August stopped over last night and changed my self proclaimed title of "smog" (step monster of the groom) to "fogab" (friend of the groom and bride) which is sweet. He also said that the bride has posted on their website the dress code as "western formal." What is that? Sounds like an oxymoron to me!

I have boots, but they are for riding a Harley, not a horse.

Joe is at a loss as well. I told him we should await further instructions and deal with it closer to the date.

He asked me to ask y'all for suggestions.

Thanks, as always!

I love this. Basically, a flowy dress, any length and boots.

I went to a wedding in Colorado last year where the dress code was "mountain dressy." No one knew what that meant and most people wore cocktail attire, some with boots, but mostly not.

I would just ask your stepson outright what they want people to wear.
