Would you rather... change your venue or your wedding date?

This one's a tough choice!! Would you rather change your wedding date and keep your venue, or change your wedding venue to keep your date? Which would you choose? Next Question: Would you rather have a videographer or a second photographer? Back to the Beginning: Would You Rather?

Venue! I would be willing to change my date if it ment we could change our venue but unfortunetly we can't afford it and idk I think 59 days away is too late to change anything lol

The date. I'd rather it not be in August. I wanted October or November. But my husband wanted to marry on his great grandmother's birthday.

I would rather change the venue to keep the date. I wanted to get married in 2019, but had to push it to 2020, so I don't want to push it back any further. And since tax season is right before my wedding, I can't really make it any sooner.

If I were still planning my wedding, this depends!

How far out from the wedding are we deciding this? Have all of my other vendors been booked? What was the reason for the decision to choose?

I LOVED our venue - but let's say it was 2 months before the wedding, all of my vendors are booked and paid for, and they had to cancel because of a flood or something. Ok, well then I'm obviously changing the venue, not the date.

But if we were 9 months out, and nothing else had been booked, if they had come to me and said "we're so sorry, we renovated your ballroom and we're not sure it will be completed by your date," I'd be more willing to change the actual date.

I definitely wouldn't risk changing the date just to hold a venue if I had all of my other vendors nailed down! Then you're basically replanning your entire wedding!

Oh boy. The venue. It is amazing and we both absolutely love it but the date is something neither of us are budging on.

I would totally change my reception venue but there is no way I'm changing my ceremony venue.

If I could go back I would have changed the venue, and the date...but more so the venue.

I'd rather change the date, we can't really afford any other venues where we want to get married and getting married in Breckenridge is more important to me than what day since it was where we took our first vacation together and got engaged.

Change the date since we'll already have had our ceremony two weeks prior so the second date doesn't mean anything to us.

I would change the date if I had to. I’ve fallen too much in love with my venue to change it at this point!Smiley surprise

I'd hate to do either, but venue. Our date is our anniversary.

The venue. Our wedding is next month and I've already had guests book flights from California, New Jersey, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, and England to go to our wedding. I'd have the wedding at a diner if it meant keeping the date the same.

There is no way that I'd change my wedding date....I feel like it's "mine" we picked June because I always wanted to be a June Bride...6 is his lucky number.
So we have doubles across the board. 6/6/2020 Smiley smile
    So I'd change my venue.
