Would love to see what your men are wearing

Our wedding date is October 17, 2020 and I am having a really difficult time deciding what our men should wear. I really want them to look nice so fit is very important to me. Additionally, I would like my FH to stand out a little. I would love to see what your men are wearing for inspiration. Since our family is spread out across the country, I was thinking of trying something like BlackTux, Generation Tux, or Menguin to make it easier on our groomsmen. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

They don’t have suits yet, but this is my inspiration picture! I like the look of a white tie, then his groomsmen will have plum ties.

I thought about doing something similar for our groomsmen and just having Artem wear a tux. Did you have all of the men purchase the exact same items? If so, where did you find was the best place to find the slacks for the men?

Our bridesmen wore this! The whole outfit came from The Groomsman Suit. It was perfect because it was online but they have a try before you buy option! The bow ties came from R. Hanauer Fine Accessories. Also online and he can do custom. I’ve linked both below if you’re interested.

We bought the suspenders for them and the gray slacks we told them the color of the grooms and they tried getting one similar enough but it wasn’t completely a match. Close enough though

My fiancé is wearing a three piece suit with celluloid collar shirt, red tie, and a gold pocket watch. All his choice- he’s obsessed with peaky blinders and the way “real” men used to dress. Polished and with flare. I love that he’s really gotten into the fashion part as what we wear will be in our pictures forever. As my grandmother would say it’s better to overdress than underdress.

Yes, it is hard to match a color exactly without mandating that everyone buys the same thing. I'm glad your guys found a close match. Did any of them complain about wearing suspenders? I like the look, but am curious about the comfort?

My FH is being so difficult LOL

Originally we said grey suit, but he has A Navy blue suit and that is our wedding color so that would be perfect except for he wants a new freaking suit (eyeroll). I don't like the penguin look unless you have a fancy Wedding.

It sounds like your FH is definitely all in when it comes to what he will be wearing. I think that is awesome! He will probably see to it that his groomsmen are also looking sharp which will be one thing you won't have to worry about while planning.

Our men are wearing black tuxes with silk lapels.
Groomsmen are wearing white shirts with silky vest that matches bridesmaids (4 different dress colors, 4 different vest colors.). And black bow tie. Usher is wearing same vest in black with bow tie.
Fiance is wearing same vest in silver gray (to match my dress) and a black tie.Dads are wearing plain black vests. His dad a plain black tie. My dad glitter tie.

Thank you for sharing. I think it is kind of cute that your FH just wants a new suit. I do understand the practical side of wanting to have him wear a suit he owns since it is a match to your wedding colors. I guess us girls aren't the only ones who want to dress up on our big day.
