With or without bustle on wedding gown

Do anyone recommend a bustle on your wedding dress? It's pretty pricey.

If you don’t want people stepping on your dress all night then yes. To me a bustle or wrist loop is completely necessary if your dress has a train.

It would depend on your preference. How
long is your train? People are probably going to step on it. Also you could do a wrist loop and have it around your wrist while dancing or mingling.

I’m getting one because I don’t want to have to hoist it around all night and risk someone stepping on it. I also don’t want it dragging on the ground, as we are having an outdoor ceremony/reception.

I bought a second dress. The fabric of the train of my dress is really delicate, so I don't want to rely on bustling it. However, it's definitely not an option to walk around for five hours in the dress with a train with no bustle.

My dress has a chapel train and I’m having it bustled. I’m also having someone local to do it because Davids Bridal charges way to much.

Our local tailor is charging me $100, but that covers busting, adding cups and making me a wrap to wear on my arms during our ceremony.

I think they are definitely a must have if you don't want others (or yourself) stepping on your dress. I am the weird one though, and I LOVE the way that bustles look.

Yes, I have a train and don’t want it stepped on. My bustle wasn’t very expensive. It’s literally a hook and eye that my MOH will attach then pinch together so it stays tight. It probably depends on your type of dress on how much a bustle costs. Each style of dress has to be bustled a certain way.
