UGH this question has me stressed out about the wedding more than the wedding day itself! Whenever I tell family members some detail about the wedding, they are always like, "well are you sure you want that?" NO, I'm saying it because I totally want something different!! UGH this question has me stressed out about the wedding more than the wedding day itself! Whenever I tell family members some detail about the wedding, they are always like, "well are you sure you want that?" NO, I'm saying it because I totally want something different!! And then after they say it, I'm like, well maybe I should change it, so I second guess myself. Anyone out there having this same issue? Ok mini rant done. Smiley smile

Thank you! I didn't know others were dealing with this. My BM said the same about my dress.

I had my FH ask me if I had the right color bridesmaid dress when we went shopping. Um, yes - I'm the one who spent hours looking at it. I'm pretty sure I know what it looks like in person. These people....

I get a lot of "traditionally, the way it's done.."

Ughhhhh I so understand. My mother is the worst at it. Then she'll go out and purchase what she thinks would be a better idea. Anyways it is kinda frustrating when people ask you that. Really does make you second guess yourself.

I had someone that kept saying "well you might feel differently a little closer to the wedding" when I would tell her a detail like what first dance song I wanted! What is that supposed to mean??? Lol.

Yes. All. The. Time. First it was because it was July and I was told that was too hot. Then they told me I should have an outdoor wedding. Umm hello you just told me it was too hot in July now you wanna have it outside? Then I should choose different colors. Then we shouldn't wait so long. My cake alternative is wrong. My MOH shouldn't be my best friend. Ect ect. Now IDGAF what they think. I just tell them it's been discussed and that's what we want and it's not changing.

I keep complaining about this to FH and he just doesn't understand why it gets to me so much. Mine is that they say, "it's your wedding, do whatever you want." Then when I make a decision on something, THAT's when I get the... "Ooohhhh... Are you sure you want to do THAT?" I've second guessed myself so and changed my original plans so many times I'm actually going backwards in the planning process.
