We had our dog in engagement pictures. But I would love to have him at the wedding but he gets too hyper and wouldn't do well with the crowd.

We included our dog! Don't forget treats or something - she got easily distracted by the environment. Wish we'd thought to bring food so she would look at the camera.

I will be having my dog at our wedding for some photos! So I found a pet taxi service local to my wedding city where they will pick her up, bring her to venue, we will take pics with her for about 10-15 minutes, and then she will get dropped back off after.

She is pretty hyper as well which is one of the reasons why she isn't staying the whole time. I'm hoping to get at least one good photo.

We had ours in engagement pictures. It was helpful to bring someone to watch the dog after you take some pictures so you can get some without the dog

As far as the wedding, our venue allows the dog but he has to leave once food begins to be served. We don’t plan on having him during the ceremony but will have someone bring him (one of the teenagers that isn’t invited to the adult only wedding) for a few pictures between the ceremony and reception. Ask your venue. They probably have been asked before and may make exceptions for outdoor pictures?

Had to include our dog in our engagement pictures! Thought about having her in the wedding, but she does not do well with crowds (gets scared easily), and would probably jump all over my dress!

We included our pup in engagement photos but he won’t be at the wedding. We brought a lot of treats, a friend to corral him and low expectations.

Our dogs were in our wedding photos and they wore that EXACT same bandana! We did a first look and had my parents bring them to us afterwards for some quick photos. Then, they were taken back to cabin before the ceremony started! You can easily find a way to work your sweet pup in. Just talk to your photographer about it!

She is so adorable Smiley love What's her name?

I've seen couples get a cardboard cut out made of their pets that they can't have at the venue, and I just think it's the best idea ever! They often leave them at the photo booth so people can get pics with them Smiley love

We had ours in our engagement photos as well. Really not sure if we can do any at the wedding yet. While our venue would allow the dogs, I have an aunt who is seriously allergic to all animals, so even if they were there before the reception for photos, she would probably end up in the hospital. We are not doing a first look and will be getting ready separately, so we can't have pre-photos with the dogs. Thought about having them come to the location where we will have photos taken between the ceremony and the reception, but that seems like a logistical nightmare as we'd have to have someone else bring them, take them home, and then quickly come back for the reception. I couldn't find a local pet taxi service & I'm not sure how well they would do with a stranger.

I like the cardboard cut out idea!

We may also get a custom cake topper including the dogs.

Our dog was in our engagement photos. She was also in our ceremony. We hired a sitter to bring her to the wedding, stay for the ceremony & a few pictures after, then take her home and keep her until after the honeymoon.
