Winter Wedding Theme

I would avoid red accents in decorations or flowers. Gold or silver with pretty greenery would look beautiful, or any other jewel tones would be nice accents too (ruby, deep purple, deep blue - just not red alone).

Daughter's wedding was mid-January. Their primary color was hunter/forest green, with champagne, and pale pink accents. Her dress was ivory over gold. I agree with pp Lady about avoiding red to your mix.

Avoid any distinct Christmas decor as well — don’t bring in evergreen or something like that.
We’re getting married Dec 30 and doing jewel tones. Festive, but not Christmasy.

I like greenery. Also seen hot chocolate bar. I saw someone else mentioned adding gold or silver. I think that would be nice as well. As others said, no reds!

Our wedding is January 4, and our theme is winter wonderland; we’re using silver, jewel-toned teal, some super pale blues here and there, and pine trees in our decor. We’re also incorporating white roses/flowers for a snowy effect

Emerald, ivory and gold would look gorgeous and not Christmasy.
