Winter wedding shoes?

You wear what shoes you want to wear and ignore your mom's opinion. Me and my mom rarely have the same tastes, so I just have to take her opinions with a grain of salt and still go with what I like. Plus, like you said....your dress will probably cover them anyways, so it shouldn't really matter. I am wearing cowboy boots with my dress, and my mom hates the idea...but oh well, it's my wedding not hers.

I personally like boots like this more than I like heels, so I agree with you. And I agree with Danielle and Future Mrs. H. It's your wedding, let your mother give her opinion and then do what you want. I like the idea of painting the bottoms blue.

I love them. I saw some styled winter shoots with brides in boots (not COWBOY BOOTS). It looked so stylish and in your case, sensible haha.
