Winter, as much as I hate the cold, and winter is my least favorite season, it is one of the most beautiful seasons in Alaska...

Fall for us. As a same-sex couple, we could only get married in Massachusetts when we started planning. We figured that fall would be the most beautiful season there.

Then again, we didn't really choose our colors by the season.

Autumn for us. It's our favorite season (pumpkins, apple pie, pretty colors) and the season worked well with our wedding colors (red and orange, so cliche but so us).

FH is not a fan of the heat so we knew a summer wedding would be out for us. Half our friends are accountants so anytime before April 14th was a no go too. And winter up here in Massachusetts sucks. A lot. Plus, the holidays is just a little too much in my opinion.

So if you think about it, autumn was really our only option anyway. But it wasn't a hard decision. Smiley smile Good luck! Here are some inspiration photos that I like.

Fall to me is the perfect and most bestest season. Not too hot, not too cold, not as much rain as spring.

We actually got married in October (we're renewing our vows this Saturday) and fall is our favorite season, however we chose September because we want an outdoor ceremony but still want it to be as close to our anniversary as possible. There's no way we could risk an outdoor ceremony in October in Oregon, but September can go either way. Thank God the weather is supposed to be perfect, it was a little touch and go there for a few days lol! We're doing a garden theme and our main colors are ivory, pale pink and pale green with just a tiny bit of Tiffany blue here and there.

Spring...originally was going with a whole spring theme. But then FELL IN LOVE with the peacock theme. We were originally going to get married on 3/17/2012...BUT at our venue spring break is INSANE! So we choose the week before the craziness starts

Fall - it's my favorite season! I love the crisp air, the way the air smells, the colors, changing leaves, holidays approaching...there's just a feel in the air! I love it!

Fall. I actually didn't pay attention to the season, I picked October b/c it's my favorite month lol. We aren't having a 'season' wedding, our colors have nothing to do with fall.

NWR- Fun fact: I, Summer, was born in autumn and my sister Autumn was born in summer Smiley smile

Maybe it's just me, but FALL!! Winter is too cold, summer is too hot, spring is beautiful but there is always a high chance of rain, but fall is beautiful, colorful, and dry. We chose October when we were planning on getting married on the east coast, but now that we are having a Caribbean destination wedding (far enough south to avoid hurricanes), it's still the best month! Cheaper shoulder season but amazing weather. yay!!

FH and I both love fall! The weather, the smells, and Halloween. I wanted a Halloween themed wedding, but FH and mom both nixed it (sad face). So I settled for mid-October, wedding in a state park, colors are dark purple and burnt orange.

Well, we originally chose the summer time, but when we had to postpone the wedding, we also realized how hot it was too. So we didn't want it too cold or too hot so we chose the spring.

I am getting married late spring but setting that date was a huge mistake!! I really wish I would have had a fall wedding. I love fall... the colors, the feel of it, weather, decor, fall clothes, EVERYTHING about it. If I could start over and change one thing, that would be it.
