Will you have a theme?

I didn't really have a theme or a specific vibe. but my wedding colors were pink and mint because i had a spring wedding!

i feel like if i ever had to redo my wedding, i'd want to a travel theme! where maybe the table numbers would be places i've been to, etc

I saw one where the couple named each table after a place they’d been and put a framed photo of a cool/adventurous photo of them in that location. Not only was it super cute and personalized, it looked like it would be inspiring for guests to find places they would want to visit!

I guess our "theme" was origami, in that we made/bought a ton of decorations to feature all over the place. It was a lot of work but it looked amazing. More generally, we were going for a slightly whimsical romantic vibe since it was springtime. I didn't want anything too old-fashioned or that's been done a hundred times. 🙂

i told my hubby i'd love to have a nice vow renewal party in the future so maybe that will be a theme i keep in mind

We don't have an official theme, but a lot of our items fit into a forest theme! We're not intentionally looking for forest themed things, it just kind of happened, lol. We’re not having a theme. Looking at all these, it could have been such a cute idea. Ours is kinda on the lines of rustic in a sense, but not entirely.

View Quoted Comment We are! We love camping, hiking, kayaking, being at the beach, reading in hammocks, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, etc. Pretty much anything outdoors. We especially love being around trees, so when we saw our venue, we knew it was the one for us! The ceremony space has tons of beautiful tall trees, right next to a lake, has a very woodsy feel, and we both knew that it was our perfect location. We weren't set on doing a theme, but rather just started picking things out that we liked, and much of it just happened to fit in with our venue!

At this point, I think I’ve tossed maybe three or four themes into the blender and pressed ‘purée’ lol. But we’re calling it a celestial theme with Art Deco elements.

I'm also in the "took a couple and blended them together" camp - but the vibe is basically Wednesday Addams gets married at Downton Abbey. Dark deep jewel tones (with ya girl in black), with lots of candles and lanterns, twinkle lights, and sparkle.

Basically, I'm a classic romance girl but I love dark colors. My regular every day wardrobe is 97% black, and I prefer a dark tone to any other color - plus getting married around Christmas/New Years - lots of black, lots of gold, lots of candles.

Our theme is a rustic barn wedding and our colors are rust and gold… we will have lots of eucalyptus and baby’s breath around along with roses and rust colored mums. My bridesmaids dresses are cinnamon. We also are thinking about adding some real white pumpkins in our decor. Our centerpieces are rust colored cheese cloths with bronze colored lanterns. Our florist is going to add Eucalyptus and baby’s breath around them and then I have acrylic table numbers I made that are white with gold lettering. I think we might also add either gold votives to the table our white pumpkins but I haven’t decided yet!
