Before I start let me say, yes I know it's my day and I can do what I want but I keep thinking I'll look silly....I'm an older bride and not having any bridal party. I see all these pics of everyone getting ready on the wedding day in cute "bride" PJs and or robes. I would like to get a Bride hoodie to wear the day of while setting up and wearing around the hotel (our venue), but wonder if it would just look like I'm trying too hard to be a young bride. And with it just being me it's not like I'll have a group of ladies all in matching stuff. Honestly, what do you think?

You do you, boo-boo!!! Do not just hesitate to take on my bridal traditions. This is my second “marriage” but my first actual wedding (my ex husband and I got married in the court house) now my fiancé (James) and I will be getting married in the Catholic Church (I was never married in the “eyes of God” so I have an annulment through the church and a divorce through the state of CA) I’m Catholic so I’m stoked to marry my best friend. Get yourself a bridal jacket, do it!!!

In my opinion if a hoodie is you, it represents you then I think it’s perfect! It would be a little out of the ordinary if you wore a flowery robe of thats not something you would normally like and Vice versa

Girl, absolutely NOT!!! I mean for real some people wear bride clothing well after their wedding. It's your wedding day and you deserve that! No one would fault you or think you look stupid for wearing bride attire on your wedding day. Do it!!!!!!

No! Omg, I'm so sad you'd even think that. I won't be having a bridal party either (so sad), but I wanted to do the same thing. I think it'd still be cute, but further more, it's your HUGE day! You won't be a bride ever again, so wear that Bride robe! Power to you, I'll be doing the same thing
