Before I start let me say, yes I know it's my day and I can do what I want but I keep thinking I'll look silly....I'm an older bride and not having any bridal party. I see all these pics of everyone getting ready on the wedding day in cute "bride" PJs and or robes. I would like to get a Bride hoodie...

I see all these pics of everyone getting ready on the wedding day in cute "bride" PJs and or robes. I would like to get a Bride hoodie to wear the day of while setting up and wearing around the hotel (our venue), but wonder if it would just look like I'm trying too hard to be a young bride. And with it just being me it's not like I'll have a group of ladies all in matching stuff. Honestly, what do you think?

Alright girl, I'm here for you and I'm about to give it to you straight. I honestly think a casual Bride hoodie will look cute and not at all like you're 'trying too hard' or anything. Honestly to me it seems very down-to-earth but still fun! No one will judge you for it.

I really like the hoodie idea, but sometimes pulling off a hoodie causes your hair to get messed up. did that at prom once 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 but, i think totally go for the shirt or hoodie! It’s a bridal thing- not an age thing! you deserve it

It's your wedding day so your suppose to be having fun, be silly and enjoy yourself. Older bride or young bride your still a bride that wants to beautiful on her day. So don't put so much thought into the what if's just do it.

    Good luck and Best Wishes

Go for it!! It's your day to do what you want! I'm an older bride too and keep thinking the same about choices. But then I decided how many days do you get to just RUN with it and do your thing?! So, I'm doing what I want as a bride, no "old" about it! 😊

Nope, go for it. I know you don’t want to hear it’s your day but it is. Do exactly as you wish. There’s no such thing as older or young bride. You’re the bride. Celebrate it.

Girl, I’m no spring chicken either and I do have bridesmaids, but most are family. We’re wearing button down flannels with monogrammed initials in the pockets to get ready! So, old or young, it doesn’t matter. It really is your day to enjoy. If the hoodie is comfy and you want to wear it, go for it! Do your thing!

I was an older bride, I had only grandchildren in the wedding party. Skipped all the getting ready photos...but do what makes you happy and what you would want I. Your album!

That sounds super fun even without a bridal party, so do it! Just a suggestion - try to find something that is a zip up, button up or ties in the front because you don't want to pull off a crew-neck once your hair and mu are done.

I say go for it! Even though it's a small detail, you may look back later on & wish you'd just went for it. Who cares what anyone else thinks you look like. Smiley heart

Definitely rock that hoodie (with a zipper so you don't mess up your hair). I'm not a young bride either but me and my girls are doing the full on experience with the robes and cute pictures. You won't look silly...wear that hoodie proudly and post pics so we all can see you in it

I think you should do what you want. Age does not matter. If you wear a hoodie that says BRIDE, well you ARE the Bride! Its Facts. I say go for it dear. Embrace every little thing that you want.

Do it, Tina! I was 44 when I got married and I excitedly wore my “bride” robe while getting ready. I didn’t have a WP either but invited my mom & sister to get ready with me, which was so fun.
