Will i look stupid?

Before I start let me say, yes I know it's my day and I can do what I want but I keep thinking I'll look silly....I'm an older bride and not having any bridal party. I see all these pics of everyone getting ready on the wedding day in cute "bride" PJs and or robes. I would like to get a Bride hoodie to wear the day of while setting up and wearing around the hotel (our venue), but wonder if it would just look like I'm trying too hard to be a young bride. And with it just being me it's not like I'll have a group of ladies all in matching stuff. Honestly, what do you think?

I think you should go for it! Your age doesn’t matter, you deserve to have the full bridal experience.

I think it's a great idea! However, if you want to wear it while you're getting ready, so you'll have those cute getting ready pics, I suggest a zipper jacket or shirt with buttons so you can take it off without ruining your hair or makeup. David's bridal even has button up flannel shirts and different robes that say Bride on it

I’m 44 and I got a bride to be t-shirt that has an AC/DC like design on it. I’m wearing it on the plane to Las Vegas. I love it and so does FH.

I say go for it. Who cares what others think anyway? Enjoy your day!

If is your everyday typical look than is not you trying. I say go for it if it makes you happy! I don’t think you’ll look silly at all.

Absolutely go for it! I was an older bride, too, and since I eloped the first time around I never had a wedding. I’m so glad I followed my heart and stopped thinking what others would think! You’ll be so glad you pampered yourself this way!

Don't think it's stupid at all. I'm 38 and my mom is getting me, her, and my bridesmaid a robe. I agree with another poster, may be a good idea to get something that buttons or zips up so it doesn't ruin your hair when you take it off.

There are sweatshirts that say "Team Bride" on them that you can get for your family, and some that say "Team Groom"
