Why would a venue not be on Ww?

I've noticed that a couple venues I had my eye on do not have a WeddingWire profile. These aren't obscure venues so I can't see that as being the reason. Is this a red flag, possibly something like these venues don't allow same-sex weddings so WW won't promote them? Or could there be a less problematic reason they're not listed?

    In order for any vendor, venue or otherwise, to be listed on wedding wire the vendor has to pay a fee. Likely whatever venue you’re looking at, if they have great reviews on other sites likely google or Yelp, just doesn’t want to pay that fee.

    Exactly what Sarah said! Just because they're not on WW, doesn't mean they aren't a wonderful venue! Use all tools like Google, Yelp, The Knot, to search venues!

    Maybe they didn’t pay the fee. But venues are also removed/not allowed in WW or The Knot if they are non-inclusive.
