Why are invitations so expensive? Help! Where did you get your invites?

I am looking for some invitation ideas. The back-up plan(already in my colors) is listed below but I am unsure about it so I am playing with the idea of something fancier.

Go with Vistaprint! Mine came out wonderful!! And I only paid about $50!!! Why spend all that money on something most people will throw away? Vistaprint has great quality products at an affordable price!

In the St. Louis area there is an amazing place cally By Unique Moments. They make their own graphic art and their quality is amazing!! I am paying 2.50 for my invitation (2 layers), Reception card, RSVP post card, thank you card, purple envelopes, and decorative label which they are printing the addresses on for us. They are amazing.

My website offers plenty of budget friendly options.

I have designs that start as low as $2.00 each and includes the rsvp and envelopes.

Let me know your budget and I can help you with a print yourself design option or finding a design to work in your budget.

We're making ours. It's saved us almost $700.00 (we've spent $50 so far and that's including everything, except for ink and postage.

Thank you ladies! You all provided some great resources for me to start researching. In the end I may just order the one's I have pictured. They are $29.99 for 50 so $60 for 100 is definitely a great price...like you say - they are only going to throw them away.

We bought ours from Michaels too. The ones i picked happened to be on clearance but totally fit out theme and colors perfectly. I paid $30 for 100 which included envelopes, response cards and their envelopes and the matching seals!
