Who's setting up your decor and centerpieces for your DIY wedding

Morning !! I'm thinking of DIY my ceremony decorations and reception centerpieces... I was just wondering if I should pay someone to set up for both events because I rather have someone solely dedicated for it ... Did you have a family friend or a paid person to do it ?

    We don't have access to the venue the day before, as there is another event in the space. When I asked my venue coordinator what to do, she offered to have one of her staff come in to help out with it.

    We are using the same space for our ceremony and reception. They are flipping it during the cocktail hour. So we can't go and decorate the night before Smiley sad We have to hire someone to do it for us. But if you don't have that same issue, and its not in your budget to hire someone to help. You could get your family and BM's together and go decorate it the night before?

    Our venue's DoC & staff set it up, we drop everything off the night before. One of the biggest reasons we picked our venue - having all that included is SO amazing.

    The wedding party are staying onsite all weekend, including the night before, so the decor won't need to travel far. I'll start the day by draping and garlanding the arch with my sisters, then head off to hair and makeup. Once we get access to the reception space at 2pm, a close family friend and several of my good friends will set that up - should take about 15-20 minutes to place items on tables and mantelpiece. I did them similar favors for their weddings, and they offered without my saying a word.

    At the end of the night, staff will put decor items in a storage room, and we can collect them the next day.
