Who will be riding in your limo?

CKJL5410, on February 24, 2012 at 10:20 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 17

Title says it all.

Who will go in the limo, where will it take you??

I am thinking it will take us from the house to pictures to the venue, but I am not sure who is "supposed" to go in it

We're taking a school bus that been all dazzled out. Our bridal party and their dates, and our photographers will be with us (because there is plenty of room)...we'll make a couple of stops on the way for photos before we hit the reception.

My BP, both moms, and the photographer. Smiley smile we would include the dads but FH's dad is still bitter about the divorce, and he makes that VERY clear when they are in the same small space including ruining his younger sons graduation dinner by arguing over it... and my dad won't go if his new wife isnt involved and well, this is his 3rd wife and we don't get along so I am not letting her in MY limo!

You can have your parents if you want. It's up to you and how much room is in the limo!

Everyone in the bridal party - kids included - but not us!!! FH's parents had his corvette fixed especially for the wedding, so FH and I will have about 30 minutes of travel time between pictures and the reception to enjoy each other and the feeling of being married... but we wanted a limo because our pictures are going to be in a cultural garden in the downtown/artsy area of the city where there is no parking available. Limos stopping in front of these areas for pictures is common though :-)

Thnx Jennifer!! Everyone says you don't get much alone time, but that will insure we get at least a little bit!!

And you would be surprised at how much a limo will help cut down the timefor pictures. I've helped coordinate lots of weddings (always a bride's maid, finally a bride) and it goes so much smoother with everyone in one vehicle!! No one getting lost - and everyone able to just hang out together and enjoy the day. If you can afford it, it is a great thing to have!! **We are renting a party bus**

I wish we had the budget for one! but I priced it out and it was going to be almost $1000 including tax and tip for just a few hrs. So ridiculous! But I think it would be a lot of fun to have everyone in. Oh well!

Ours picked me and my girls up and took us to the ceremony venue. After the ceremony, it took me, DH, the BMs, and the GM to the reception venue. I would have liked to have the parents ride with us too, since they contributed a lot of time, effort, and money into our day, but the capacity of the limo was 10 people, and we couldn't afford the party bus.

I changed my mind on the limo. I wasn't as pumped up about it. I rather have a classic baby blue convertible, but no one rents classic cars in my area. But most of the time, the wedding party goes in the limo.
